This is my first electric standing desk, so I didn't want to spend a fortune until I see if it's something I use regularly. The price was right and it was very easy to assemble, no pieces were damaged when it arrived. The box had rubber corner guards that were definitely beat up, but they did their job protecting what was inside. My only hesitation is the two piece top - I use a metal clamped monitor stand/arm for a second screen, and I feel like the extra weight of that on the back piece of the top will eventually cause a gap down the middle as it pulls on that panel. As others have said, you definitely can't lean on it too heavily or put too much weight on the top - eventually I may see if it could be swapped out with an Ikea desk surface for more stability. But overall, the electronics work fine, it's a nice amount of space, and I'm pleased with the purchase for the price. ... show more

I love this desk. It was easy to assemble, took less than 30 min. I’m tall 5’9” and the max height is perfect for me. It’s also thick and sturdy and the color selection oak matched perfectly with the rest of my furniture. Highly recommend!

I have ordered several desks from Amazon and while customer service is usually great after delivery, I have to say that I have had some issues with the packaging in the past. These things are heavy and prone to breaking through the box and becoming damaged in the shipping process. I was so very impressed with the way this desk was packaged and shipped! Every corner of the box was taped up with a protective hard plastic corner sleeve/cover? not sure what to call it but it did the job. All the parts inside the box were snugly inserted into fitted foam-like molds, well labeled, and the desk top had another set of corner protectors on them inside the box. I was so impressed by the packaging. I laid everything out and was able to assemble the desk, by myself, in about a half hour. I have been using the desk for about a week now and it is sturdy, the motorized up/down action works great and I really like that this lets you save your desired heights once you have figured out your preferences. I do wish this had something underneath the desk top to organize the cords so they are not on the floor but I was able to install a cord organizer from Ikea and that works fine. I also wish it had a drawer but for the price I paid (it was on sale) I can live without the drawer. I would definitely recommend this desk. My next purchase will be a walking pad to go underneath! ... show more

This table is made up of well constructed parts and is pretty easy to assemble. My husband helped me but I probably could have done most of it myself (in some places it's good to have 2 people). Item arrived with minor damage to one of the top boards in a few places along the middle edge. It's not bad, but disappointing. Item is very easy to install The unit goes up and down with ease. It is not the most stable desk and tends to move back and forth pretty easily. Just be cautious of what you put on it. (ie: don't put drinks on the unit). But, for what I need it for, it works fine. If you plan to put a keyboard tray on the bottom, you will need to build out the bottom so the tray has something to attach to because all the mechanical components for the riser are otherwise in the way. I did this in 3 steps because the desktop itself is only 5/8" thick so you don't have much to work with on the first piece of plywood. In my case, I stacked 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood and 1 piece of 1/4" plywood in front and behind the bars to give room for the keyboard tray. If you leave the keyboard on the desktop, you will have no issues. ... show more

I bought this small desk because my home office is rather small. Overall, this small desk is nice, situates in my office nicely. The instruction for assembly is easy to follow. I would give this purchase 5 stars if the top board is a little better quality. Instead, the board material is not so good. Under the nice looking laminate, the board is a weak particle board. One should be careful while tighten the screws. Too tight may ruin the holes. Unscrew, then re-screw may also ruin the holes. Overall, it was a good value purchase for the price I paid. ... show more
