A lot comes in the package. Some do fall apart. They may be a little rough for fish with delicate fins. I put very few in my betta tank. I do enjoy the pop of color they bring.

I ordered the 'mini grass' version of these plants because the description says they are 1" - 1.2". No indication of what dimension that was, but height seemed a reasonable guess. I bought them to use the leaves for making 1/12 scale plants for miniature landscapes. Each entire plant is actually 2.75" tall from the top of the base (3.25" tall from the bottom of the base), with the leaves angling to the side a bit. The longest leaves are actually 3" long and the shortest leaves are 1 3/4" long. This makes them much less useful for my purpose, but I can use the shorter leaves.
