My dogs have a bad habit of shewing up the dog pillows I buy for them. I thought I would get one of these blankets to put over their pillows and see if I could keep them intact for at least a week before they were destroyed. So far it has been about a week and all 3 pillows are still looking good. I bought 2 of these blankets and a couch cover made of the same material. I'm very pleased with all of them. These couch covers are amazing! We have a 3 month old puppy and a 2.5 year old so accidents sure do happen in our house. The liquid does not absorb through the cover and beads up on top for a bit. When the liquid gets cleaned after sitting for a few seconds, there is a wet spot left behind but it dries fast and still doesn’t leak through to the actual couch. We just moved into our new home and our couch is new so we wanted to ensure we had some kind of protection. I am very pleased with this product. I ended up returning those because it would not stay on my couch. It’s slid every time you sat down and you’d have to fix it. It also was too short, but that’s on me for not measuring. It was very thin also.

The liquid balls up on the surface of this cover until it is washed. Then more of the liquid is absorbed to the next layer but the underlying materials stay dry.
