Well, we got a new puppy! Yeah!! Then night rolled around and we put the puppy in his kennel and he cried all night long. No one slept a wink those first few nights. I know some people say to get an old style clock and the ticking sound will comfort the puppy. I never really liked that idea because I was worried that the puppy would break the clock and accidentally swallow a piece of it. I happened upon this Snuggle Puppy and thought it was worth a try and seemed less risky than a clock. Well, let me tell you... he loves his puppy! I guess it didn't help that he was from a littler of 13 but having a "puppy" with a heartbeat that he could rest his head on actually made him feel better. I bought this heart beat pup for my puppy when we brought him home. He LOVES his baby Biscuit! It’s a little big for my little guy, but he loves it so much and carries it around everywhere! The batteries last a very long time even if you leave it on 24/7. As a matter of fact when the heartbeat goes off he will chew at the stomach area and I know it’s time to turn it back on or change the batteries. The Velcro is extremely durable and hard to open but be careful if you have a determined chewer bc it can be opened if your pup is determined like mine. My pup is 11 months old now and still loves his heartbeat baby and carries it around everyday and plays with it. So far it’s held up pretty well with him playing and chewing on it, no holes yet, however he has chewed a little of the tail off. The heartbeat is pretty realistic sounding and the pulsating is pretty realistic as well. 10/10 recommend. Would buy again if for any reason ours stops working or gets torn up.

If you have a sweet puppy like our 8 week old pug puppy that is struggling being without mama dog.. please buy this. Our puppy has struggled so badly with separation anxiety. I was skeptical because I didn’t think something would actually soothe her like her momma did… but, since I purchased this she has stayed right next to it. She curls right up to it and falls asleep peacefully, crate training has become easier.. please if you’re considering this.. spend the money. It is a game changer, and I received it the day after I ordered it! Just don’t forget the AAA batteries. It is well made, light weight and equivalent to a small adult dog size so she truly thinks it’s her mom.. I give this 5 stars! Also there isn’t a “pug” stuffed animal choice which I did worry would be an issue for her but, she doesn’t care. She clings to it regardless, so even if they don’t have the same Breed as your pup, get it! They won’t notice.

I bought this just before we brought our 8 week old puppy home. We were afraid he'd miss his brother's and sisters and this stuffed dog would help comfort him. It has a little heart that goes inside it and has two different settings (8 hour/24 hour) and it has a heating pad. We activated both things the first full week of bringing our new puppy home. It worked wonderfully. He snuggled up to it each night and went right to sleep. He's now 20 weeks old and loves this stuffed puppy. It is his security blanket of sorts. We can ask him where "puppy" is and he'll go get it. It is made of a very good quality fabric. I'm still in shock that it's not been ripped to shreds. He plays with it multiple times a day. I'd buy this product again and again!

So many pet items are just flimsy and carelessly made, easily destructible and a waste of money. This heartbeat puppy however has been a blessing for our 9 week old wire haired fox terrier and for a better nights sleep for us. She awakens about twice per night to go potty and this little toy helps her settle quickly back to sleep. I only use it as necessary to help her when she’s restless. It really works well for her. It’s made nights with a new puppy much easier. I don’t actually put it inside her kennel as I don’t want her to chew it without supervision. I just place it nearby so she can hear the heartbeat. We haven’t used the warming function yet. It’s simple to operate and the puppy itself is soft and cute. Puppy toys can be such a ripoff and this one is definitely on the pricey side but we’ve found it to be worth the money. Highly recommend.

We brought our new Sheltie puppy home at 3.5 months old and he's had his Snuggle Puppy in his kennel with him from night 1. He has literally not whined in his kennel and slept through the night since the start with his Snuggle Puppy, it feels like a miracle! We leave his kennel door open during the day and he'll even go in and take naps during the day, but always cuddles up next to his Snuggle Puppy or uses it as a pillow. So grateful that this seems to have taken the potential stress and anxiety out of crate training, for all of us!

I have an anxious pup but this toy has been calming for her since we got it. We used the heart beat and warming packs and few times when she was a puppy and she didn’t really react differently with it versus just with having the toy. But she has always loved this toy and falls asleep sucking on it most nights. I’ve tried getting her other plush toys made with the same fabric but for some reason she doesn’t like an as much as this one. I would definitely recommend to anyone that has a nervous or lonely dog.

I ordered it about two weeks ago, unfortunately it was taking so long I had to cancel it. I wish I would have had it sooner. My pup is just 2 months but as soon as we go it today she has been so calm. You can feel the heart beat and it makes her calm and sleepy. Definitely would recommend for a new pup or and older one too.
