The possibility and concept of these was so desirable, but my kids don’t like these at all (4 yr old). He can’t get the magnets to stick together long enough to build anything. If you do manage to construct something, it tumbles down with the slightest pressure during play. Even when I try to play with them, I struggle, and I’m 42. These are nothing like Magnatiles.

Received as a gift. Three and five year olds had great difficulty in making anything remotely like the photo examples and they are expert builders with other magnetic blocks and regular marble runs. I tried to help and also found them difficult to use. Balls get stuck within the tubes and sit there until another knocks them out. Plates must face the same direction or they cause every thing to misalign. We have other Smartmax sets, which we love to build with, but this set didn't have the same thoughtful engineering.
