This has easily been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my garage door. The insulation does an excellent job of keeping the heat out, which has made the space noticeably more comfortable, especially during warmer days. What really surprised me, though, is how effective it is at reducing sound. I use my garage as a studio, and this has helped dampen outside noise while also keeping sound from leaking out. It feels like a simple addition, but the difference it makes in both temperature control and noise reduction is huge. Definitely a worthwhile investment. We were pleasantly surprised by this insulation kit. It was fairly easy to install, and once up, it gave the garage a much cleaner, brighter look. The panels fit well and made an immediate difference in helping the garage stay more comfortable — cooler during warmer days and warmer when temperatures drop. I bought the SmartGARAGE Reflective Insulation Kit and the difference was immediate. My garage used to be unbearably hot in summer and freezing in winter — not anymore! Installation was super easy, everything comes included and the panels fit perfectly. The reflective material blocks heat incredibly well, and the double-sided tape holds everything in place without issues. My energy bills have gone down noticeably since installing it. If I could give this item 10 stars I would. We live in Texas and our house receives direct evening sun for appx 4 hours. Our garage doors (hurricane doors) were so hot you could not even touch them. Our garage temperature sat in the 110-120's on a hot summer day. This not only effected the garage but the rooms above the garage - the humidity levels were hard to control. We added this SmartGarage Door kit to our double door and single door (3 boxes were needed) and we could not be more thrilled with the results. Our garage has been staying around 85-90 degrees on the hottest summer days now. That might sound awful but in reality it is a great improvement. We have seen a reduction in our humidity in the upstairs rooms along with a reduction in our electricity bill. Installation was easy - measure, put adhesive on the insulation and install on the door panels. Took us around an hour to install on our doors. I have been so pleased with the results many of our neighbors have also purchased and installed and say what a relief they are feeling. We don't get super cold winters typically but excited to see if during the cold weather we get if our garage maintains a comfortable temperature as well. ... show more
