    • Attractive "military" style smart watch at a reasonable price.
The Oiviato S81 "military" smartwatch is very attractive with a moderate sized dial that easy to read but will not overwhelm smaller wrists, and a metal case. It has a relatively large battery that should be good for at least a week for most users. The included watchbands (2) are stiffer and thus more difficult to put on than usual, but the watch accepts most 22mm watchbands, of which hundreds are available on Amazon at reasonable prices. All of the usual health and exercise functions (except blood pressure) are available, as are email and SMS "pushing" and call answering and initiating. The watch uses the popular and easy to configure Fit Cloud Pro App; it pairs readily. Over 100 watch faces are available free of charge. Heart rate and oxygen level tracking, and step-counting seem accurate; sleep monitoring generally works accurately with occasional errors. There are over 100 exercise functions but the watch isn't a good substitute for a Garmin or similar smart watches used by serious athletes; among other issues there is no independent GPS function (not unusual for a smartwatch in this price range). I find that when cycling, for example, the heart rate recorded by the watch is about 10 BPM higher than with my chest strap and Wahoo application. One minor but somewhat strange feature: the watch rim has four words, "power," "back," "heart" and "sport" etched on it. Other than the word "power" they don't seem to have any connection to the watch functions. After four weeks it is too soon to assess reliability. If you are tiring of wearing a rectangular Apple clone the S81 could be a good choice at around $50 with the current discount. ... show more

First impressions I am very pleased. Keeping in mind that this is an entry-level budget smartwatch and cannot be realistically compared to watches 6 to 10 times the price, this watch is actually pretty high on the value scale. Also, all of the advertised features work as described, a huge plus for watches in this price point! BATTERY After charging to 100%, battery lasted 9 DAYS before going full empty, definitely exceeding expectations; BAND The band is surprisingly comfortable. While it is not exactly a high quality high-end band, it is nicely flexible and is very comfortable on the wrist. Also the band end fits snugly into the band holders staying put when reaching your hand in your pocket throughout the day. (Many other watch bands this gets caught and comes out of the band holder, this one did not have this issue) Also, if you prefer a different style band, you can replace your own preference easily. HEART MONITOR As long as band was worn snugly works very accurately. I am very aware of what I expect my heart rate to be at different times, and once I determined effective band tightness this feature worked perfectly for me. SCREEN/FACE The resolution & clarity is good, when compared to other budget watch entries. I would rate above average. Also as a plus in my view, screen watch face is lower than the bezel, which does two things: 1. Makes scratching the face just a little bit less likely 2. Leaves room for a screen protector if desired.(Yes people make them, purchase the right size and it should fit flush with the bezel) SIZE The size is more reasonable for those not wanting an overly large watch face. I have an average wrist size for a male and it fits very well. (Picture for reference, my wrist is 7.5") Case size: 2" (50.8mm) Case diameter ÂĽ" (6.35mm) Case thickness FLASHLIGHT This feature does work, albeit, it requires a swipe down on the screen from the watch face and then tapping the flashlight icon. (Not as convenient as a dedicated external watch button, But literally takes one second when you get used to it). Brightness isn't anything to write home about, however matches the brightness of my cell phone flashlight. COMPANION APP The companion app (Fit Cloud Pro) is decent. I had no issues connecting watch. It had more options available in the app then expected at this price point. Good variety of watch faces to choose from, as well as ability to use your own background image. One point to note, app will not record your sleep if you are a day sleeper. There is not an option to identify your specific sleeping window. It only looks for sleeping during its dedicated overnight sleep window. Overall most definitely a good value in the entry level smartwatch market. Would especially recommend if you have tried other watches and found them too large (This one is closer to a familiar 50mm size). ... show more

    • This watch is a piece of junk
I had this watch for 3 months and it completely shut down the second time I wore it going for a swim. This watch is not what I expected and I am very disappointed. If you do buy this watch make sure you buy the warranty as it will not last.

I've had this for approximately six weeks now. Works well, and battery life is nice. After two weeks, I usually have half battery life left. Isn't bad looking either. Note: watch band is a 22mm if you would like a replacement.

Works great so far, word of the wise, if you want the battery life to last, don’t connect it with Bluetooth to your phone, it drains both. Without it connected it’s been two weeks so far without me having to charge the watch and it’s at 50%

    • No blood pressure monitor
It stated it would monitor blood pressure and sleep. I could not find bp monitors anywhere and the sleep detection only works sparsely.
