We have it positioned to accent one side of the house that's just plain and boring. I can change the colors according to the season or holiday with the app or voice control.     • More for aesthetics than lighting pathways.
Got these lights to give a little bit more ambiance to my front yard garden beds and I thought I'd at least try to use them for my walkway. Sadly the light isn't as bright as I had hoped and they're probably just as bright as my low power solar lights. However I'm always a fan of lights linked to the Smart Life app so unlike my solar lights I actually can turn them on and off after linking the app to my Wi-Fi and controlling them with either Google or Alexa. I really suggest that this probably not be used for pathways but always be used to shine against a wall so the maximum amount of color of brightness can be noticed. Though I didn't play with the app itself, just being able to link it to my main Google and Alexa hub is valuable in itself; The smart ambience and multicolor is VERY handy during the seasons (Halloween, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Christmas), I can simply change the colors with a voice command and reflect the current occasion. By doing that, I can celebrate the seasons the lazy way without installing or removing any new lights and just change the colors by a simple voice command! ... show more

Easy to setup and install. Perfect compliment to my house exterior and shrubbery. Creates cool accent colors that highlight dark section of my house and wash it with color. Best part is I can pick the color and intensity. Very bold and bright or subtle and just a hint of color. The app seems easy to use but I have not tried all the functions yet. These lights were a bit of a let down because they were not as large as I thought they would be based on the pictures. They do work well, but the amount of light that comes from them is not enough to light my patio as I thought was the case based on the photos on Amazon. They were easy to install and the app is easy to use, so it is not all bad. I am sure I will find another use for these lights but it does not do much for me on my patio. Quick and easy set up with individual light control. The housing looks and feels strong and durable along withe the stakes and the amount of light produced, especially from 4 of them, will easily light up what you need. The app could be better, but the lights are fantastic.

These lights are a little bit smaller than I thought they were going to be. However, they do offer an incredible amount of brightness and do exactly as they should. I can angle the light heads to a certain direction if I need to. It comes with a 40 foot cord/cable length offering me plenty of room to be able to spread them apart. These lights are kinda tiny. They're not as bright as you'd think but there good for simple pathway lighting. I like that you can control each individual light but with only 4 it doesn't extend very far. App was easy to use and set up.

The media could not be loaded. I love these lights and will have to get me some more for other parts of my yard. They are a well-made strand of 4 lights that can stretch out decently but 40ft is somewhat deceiving. The total amount of cord from plug in to strand end may be 40 ft but the distance from the first light to the last night is not nearly that far apart.
