    • Nice lock for home security.
This is a great lock for a home or small business that can tolerate a few minor app bugs. It connects to the app via Bluetooth. The app is somewhat temperamental, is inconsistent, and sometimes takes multiple attempts to sync with the lock. But the door can be operated without the app with a fingerprint or code, so for everyday use, the app is not needed. It is a deadbolt only, so if you have a standard doorknob, you will have to make an opening for the deadbolt before installing. It is not compatible with integrated door knob/deadbolt systems. It says it can be operated by remote with the app, but that requires a Gateway, which is not included with this lock. I assume the Gateway would add wifi capability instead of just Bluetooth, which requires the app to be near the lock to operate. I had hoped to rekey this one with the same key used on the other locks in my home. This one is only a 4 pin tumbler which doesn't really work with my existing keys. It has the same keyway, so I might be able to make a workaround to get it to work. Another nice feature is the USB port to emergency power it with a phone or battery pack if the battery goes dead. If the app were less temperamental, I would give this 5 stars, so this is a solid 4-star lock. ... show more

    • Defective lock!
The lock keeps locking me out and not recognizing finger prints, codes, or let me unlock from the app. It turns red and keeps beeping. I am having to reset this lock every day.

Works great! Easy install, I think It took me less than 30min. Easy to work. Love that it has 4 ways to unlock it. Key, finger print, code and chip.
