I love these boots. I'm 5'8" and I wear a size 10. They fit as desired. These go up to my knee... not over. Just like I wanted. The inside along my calves are soft and the bottoms leave room enough to add my inserts for more cushioning.

I ordered these with several other pair of shoes. I ended up returning these but not due to not liking them. I like the color, The size fit well and true, and walking around in my home they were comfortable even on hard floors.... I chose not to keep them mainly just due to the width of the calf. I did not purchase a wide calf boot, and I do not believe that these were wide leg, they just were too gappy around the very top edge. I wanted them a little more streamlined closer fitting to my leg, and they just didn't meet that. In general I really like the boot.

Got these for an outfit at Folsom Street Fair but the calf opening was too big for my skinny bird legs! Other than that, nice boots for occasional wear. Bummer they didn’t fit well up top.

Most standard boots have a 15” circumference in the calves, which is really snug on me. I’m willing to live with the slightly lower quality of these for the sake of comfort, but I know I’ll need to treat these with care to make them hold up.
