I bought these 2 smart bulbs on prime day for a great price, followed the included instructions and they work perfectly. Connecting to Alexa was a breeze too. (Fyi, if she tells you she 'can't discover any new devices' after you have enabled Magic Home as a skill, don't worry. Just go back to your devices screen & find they are already listed! She grabs them as soon as you enable the new skill.) It's really helpful to turn these bulbs to daylight / warm white / cool white & dim or brighten them by percentages. The colors are fun too, but I probably won't use those very often. (Well, I like 20% blue for watching TV.) Good product & I will buy again. ... show more

First, I had to give this product a try before writing a review. Second, now that I've had it for a few weeks, I'm loving my first set of smart bulbs. I have one bulb at the front door and a second one in the bedroom. The front door bulb is set to come on after I get home which is dark. In the morning after I leave I like to turn off the bulb in my car, and watch the place get dark. Very satisfying...lol. It is also where my TV room is located so having the option to turn it to a low brightness setting is awesome. The bedroom bulb is where I get creative. The color range is good especially with the programmed settings such as strobe or color fade. Finally, I like that I can operate it via the app or Alexa. In the app you can quickly change your color and brightness setting, however working with Alexa it's easy to say turn light to a 10% brightness or simply turn it off. I'm pleased with this bulb and never thought I could get giddy over lighting. They are worth trying. Update 10/17/20. I purchased two more bulbs, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. Last night I fell asleep with them on by mistake and it's awesome I didn't have to leave my bed to turn them off👍🏼.These two bulbs are on a socket adapter giving me more options for placement, see the second bluelight image. Also, I should have added, setup in the Magic Home app was fussy but all went well afterwards. I even moved my bulbs around without having to reset anything. ... show more

I got these light bulbs to light my bedroom and the results are surprisingly good! Installation was straight forward, just screw in light bulb, connect it to your wi-fi network using the smart home app. All in all, it took maybe 5 minutes for me to set everything up, including unboxing the light bulbs, and downloading the app. Very nice! The bulb can output many different colors, but you can still adjust the temperature of white light the bulb produces anywhere in the range from a warmer yellow to a colder blue. The bulb turns on very fast with maybe 0.2 second delay after flipping the switch and it also remembers and saves the last used lighting configuration. Unlike my older light bulbs, it does not take much time to warm up to its full brightness , which is great. The output of the smart bulb is advertised at 750 lumens and I found them to be plenty bright. They can easily be used for working during the night. The smart bulb app (called Magic Home Pro) also has a lot of useful features such as changing the color of the light bulb to anything you want and making the color cycle gradually. Unlike other smart bulb apps I tried, there are additional advanced features, including being able to control the light bulbs together as a group and syncing the color to whatever music you are playing. This is quite useful for parties or other types of indoor entertainment. Overall I am impressed by the sophistication and smoothness of the software. Given how cheap these smart bulbs are compared to name brand ones and how many features they are packing, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to automate their indoor lighting. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love the Amazon smart lights their energy efficient and the Alexa integration is perfect! As you can see from the above video it is very easy to work the smart light through Alexa! The lights are easy to set up, and easy to adapt with Alexa!I am even able to set them to come on when I am not home at a certain time. I'm slowly replacing all my home light bulbs with smart bulbs. These were a good price and they arrived quickly. They are good quality and work with the Magic Home app which is what a lot of my other lights use, which was very convenient. Magic Home connects with Google Home so these light bulbs were super simple to set up and get working with voice command right away. All you do is screw it in, open the Magic Home app and follow the easy directions to connect it, and then make sure your Google Home app is connected to the Magic Home app. It is really so easy! I don't have Alexa but I assume it would be equally as easy to use with Alexa as well. These light bulbs can change colors and dimness/brightness. If you don't have a Google Home or Alexa you can just control them directly with the app on your smart phone. I would definitely recommend these light bulbs to anyone who is looking to add more smart bulbs or who wants to try them out for the first time! I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more
