This review is actually for two items, a taillight and a saddle bag. It just happens that they come in the same package and are integrated so the light mounts on the bag. The challenge here is that I have different views on the items but can only give one set of stars for both of them. First the light. I like the light. It is really why I got this product. It has some smart functions to sense ambient light and movement of the bike. In smart sensing modes, it will turn off in daylight and also turn off to save battery if stationary for more than 30 seconds. It will also sense motion and become bright when it detects deceleration to serve as a brake light. There are also 2 manual modes, a flashing and a constant mode. The light can go up to 300 lumens, which is good for a taillight in most conditions. It has a USB-C charging port, is made of aluminum, and weather resistant. The 300mAh battery has claimed run times of 8 to 36 hours. I think in reality we can expect about half of that time. It has a Garmin-style mount and includes an extra seat post mount. It is a very compact light and quite impressive output for its size. Next the saddle bag. It is a large bag with a lot of room. There is a divider inside that cuts the space into upper and lower halves, with the lower area slight larger. Personally, I don't like wide bags because they tend to rub my bib shorts. In this case it is for a family member who prefers a wider, padded saddle, so the width isn't an issue. Additionally, the bike has wider tires, so the spare tube needs the extra room provided by the bag. The bag has a hard shell and covered zippers that are claimed to be waterproof. The mounting is via a clip on the top of the bag that clamps on to the saddle rails, and a Velcro strap on the front securing to the seat post. I like that it has clamps to the rails instead of straps to keep the bag from swaying too much. The rear of the bag opens down and has a small compartment inside to hold money or keys and also provide access to the Garmin mount for the light. Lastly, there is another zipper along the length of the bag, from front to back, to expand it for more storage space. Personally, I would prefer if the bag tapered toward to front for more clearance or have the ability to extend farther behind the saddle. I would give it 4 stars if reviewing it only.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice and spacious bag for bikes that installs under the saddle. Aside from the style and design of the bag, what really adds to this bag is the light and it’s location. The light has 4 modes (Normal Flash, Breathing Flash, Fast Flash, and Steady On). The battery is very long lasting. I had it on max brightness when I started biking and by the time I came back it was 4 hours and 15 minutes and still it was flashing. I rarely go beyond four hours use, so it should last enough for my duration. The interesting feature of this light is the automatic detection of deceleration. It detects it through a high precision brake sensor and boost the light brightness for 3 seconds three times to alert the traffic and bikers behind you. As far as the bag itself, it is very spacious with a lot of room inside. The main compartment is expandable and has a divider that partitions it into two separate compartments, allowing to organize and separate items. Then the back has zippers on both side that can be opened easily. The reflectors on the sides are another added feature along with 3D hard shell waterproof design that makes this bag to stand out. For safety concerns people, this bag is a snap to remove and put back through quick release mechanism and Velcro. It is a matter of a few seconds to detach the bag from bike when you need to walk away and then put it back when you return to your bike. It comes with several accessories to mount the light on other locations but the best place for it is the opening of the saddle (door with zipper). It has the unique design to snap the light there securely and honestly, this bag without this light mounted on this location looks weird, incomplete or parts have fallen off of it. This is a very well thought bike saddle bag and the smart light and its location really gets the attention of the drivers and other bikers behind you specially if you are ridding your bike in the streets bike lanes with cars coming from behind.

This light with multiple mounting options and lighting modes is a great safety feature. The under-seat bag, which is also a mounting option, is also very nice - roomy, waterproof and easily accessible. I chose to mount it on the seat post (see picture) with the included bracket and rubber ring. It took a little wrestling but it seems to hold quite securely. As with many Chinese made devices, the instruction manual is in tiny print and not particularly clear. It charges fairly quickly with the included USB-C cord. And it attaches to the mount easily and securely. It's got four lighting modes, activated by touching the spot in the middle of the light. Two modes are "intelligent" - meaning they're motion activated. The other two are constant-on, one flashing, one solid. Turning on an intelligent mode makes it flash a bunch of times before it turns to standby. The light is quite bright. I like the fact that it activates automatically. I kept forgetting to turn on - or off - my old one. And I like the fact that it recognizes braking and intensifies the light. Since I ride in the city, using my Trek hybrid for errands as well as exercise, I appreciate having this extra safety factor.

The light works, for what it's worth, but there are a couple things to be wary of. I had expected a fairly universal fit for the saddle bag, but it may not work (or work well) depending on wheel diameter, seat post height, and seat design. While I was able to fit it to my bicycle (sort of), it is not clamped down all the way on the saddle rail due to the shock absorbers having a connecting rail that coincides with the same space as the mounting bracket. I also did not end up with much clearance between the saddle bag and wheel--I do have enough that it doesn't make contact but not enough to open the compartment without removing the light. Those are considerable design flaws that should be noted.
