I've purchased several of these from SmallRig. I don't like ordering directly from their website because of all the BS they make you go through to get a discount (like they probably don't already have all my personal info) so I just buy from Amazon. However, it is quality gear or I wouldn't have ordered so much of it. Good job SmallRig. I have never had a SmallRig product fail.

Very useful, multiple applications and the price is right. The kip handles are the weak link. Having said that, they haven't failed yet.

One thing I was unaware of but very glad once I discovered was that the tightening screws can be pulled to tighten in tight areas where other things like a camera cage or shoulder rig could normally prevent farther turning. You can be sure you’ll have a tight fit on 15mm rods.

The camera accessories market is filled with overpriced pieces of metal that really don't do much, but are critical to shooting. For $15, this rod clamp fit the bill for me and I couldn't be happier. I feel that I got something that was worth every penny.

For the money this works well, smooth finish on the parts - nothing missing that I can see - but how hard is the aluminum relative to screw holes possibly stripping in the future ?? Is this T6064 aluminum? guessing "no". They don't say. Hard aluminum may not have suited the style (Split C clamp) of clamping to the rail. The solution would be stainless inserts for screws...
