    • Smallrig nailed it on price and quality
Super bright light. Its compact and love that it comes with a cold shoe mount. Battery life is very good, i use it at 80-90% to stretch it a little longer and its still bright enough. Love the ability to change the color temperature too. Overall very versatile light, easy to use. One of the cheaper lights on the market, yet it works just as good if not better than others and looks and feels premium. ... show more

    • Compact, Versatile, and Bright!
The SmallRig RM120 RGB Video Light is an awesome little light with a ton of versatility. It’s compact but puts out a strong, even light with great color accuracy. The RGB options and adjustable brightness make it perfect for creative lighting setups. The build quality feels solid, and the battery life is impressive. Whether you’re using it for photography, video, or content creation, this light is a great addition to any setup. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • A multifunctional light that is necessary for any setup.
This is a fantastic light that does exactly what it says. I use it for terrarium photography where I need to light nocturnal animals and for that specific reason its perfect, but I also plan to remove it from the camera and just use it to light anything and everything when I'm shooting videos. Its not for lighting an entire person or anything, but it does exactly what's its meant to do and it does it fantastically. ... show more

    • Excellent little LED Panel! Bright
As with most things with the Smallrig brand name, it is overpriced. The build quality seems to be really good and in time I will be able to tell about the quality of the battery and the life span. Normally will not purchase anything with an internal battery because the tend to have short lives and do not provide a good ROI. There are some pretty good features included with this little beast. The ability to change the color temperature, the ability to change thee output and the ability to recharge using a USB C cable. The included silicon diffuser is a nice thought but, ill fitting. something that simply covers thee LED units would be so much better. The inclusion of the ball head is also a worthwhile feature. Satisfied at present with the purchase, time will tell. ... show more

    • If you know, you know.
The SmallRig RM120 has been solid with great battery life, great features, good enough brightness for most applications and fits easily is my bag. If you are looking for a good light at a reasonable price this might be the best and easiest option out there.

    • Portrait Photography & Longevity
This thing is awesome. Alright, so I was having trouble finding a cold-shoe light that I could use specifically for product photography, without the annoying hot glare you typically get with LED’s. I purchased multiple options, all of which failed miserably until the Smallrig. It is just large enough to not be intrusive, and diffuses the light very well for portrait photography use. The dinners/warmth dials feel “expensive” and not like they’re going to break, and the rig being metal is awesome and makes me feel much more confident that this thing will stand the test of time. ... show more

    • Reliable, great battery, life, easy to use, bright
Very good Light, I’m using this on my Sony a 7ii, mostly as continuous light for photos Great options and colors, reliable on the battery, and you don’t need to have it at 100% all the time most of the time I have it around 40 to 50 and it’s a really nice feature to be able to change the temperature of the color (from cool colors to warm colors) the size is pretty portable. It’s roughly the size of a phone . ... show more

    • Awesome for video and photo
Review Image by Booboo
Bought two of these and have been using them as key and fill lights on photo and video shoots for the past two months. The colors are deep and bright. Used both to light a night scene in the middle of the woods and they worked great. I got 4 hours on a full charge.
