- For Canon R6 Mark II: This cage kit is customized for Canon R6 Mark II, locking the camera via one 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and one side lock adapter on both sides. It also maintains full access to the button, card slot, screen, and battery door.
- Multiple Mounting Points Various: The cage and top handle feature a variety of expansion interfaces, including multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching monitor mounts (ID 2904B), multiple cold shoe mounts for microphones (ID 3487), video lights (ID 4660, 3286B), and other accessories. Additionally, built-in 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI allow for the attachment of monitor mounts (ID 2903B), while a NATO rail on the left side accommodates accessories with a NATO clamp, such as side handles (ID 4485, 3260).
- Top Handle for for ARRI: The top handle with 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI connects to the cage. The ergonomic design enhances the experience of grip for the fuselage. The top handle makes the cage kit easier to carry and facilitates low-angle shooting.
- Cable Clamp for HDMI and USB-C : The Cable Clamp for HDMI and USB-C is securely fastened to the left side of the cage with two M3 screws to prevent deflection. A double-headed wrench is provided to tighten the screws and secure the cables, protecting the camera's ports for HDMI and USB-C and while ensuring stable data transmission.
- Retractable Base Plate: This cage kit features quick release plate for Arca-Swiss that is compatible for Arca-style tripods and for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers.

Great cage for the R6 MKII. Very sleek & light weight. You barely notice it in comparison to some of the other ones out there. I love the built in tool at the bottom that keeps you needing an additional piece of equipment to get the cage on & off. For extra security you have the locks on the camera strap hinges that keep the camera nice & stable & is a great additional point of contact. Smallrig makes amazing products at a fair price point. I highly recommend them to not only entry level folks but also seasoned professionals.

Great cage for the Canon R6 Mark II. But make sure you do not purchase this for your R6 Mark III, it will not fit. The memory card door hits the cage and you cannot open it fully without potentially damaging it. If you need a cage for the R6 Mark III the Black Mamba will work.

Solid SmallRig quality. Just know that this will NOT with the R6 Mark III model. The memory card door is too close to the frame and unfortunately it doesn’t fit.

Did everything it needed to do. I primarily got it for protection because ive had a case of the drops quite often as of late. And I needed to protect my investment. It adds a little bit of weight (I shoot handheld) but it's not much more than it did already. Feels good in the hands and doesn't interfere. Build quality is sturdy Took seconds to install and fit pretty good The only negative is the button release if you have large fingers. It's a minor inconvenience if your used to changing lenses fast. But for me being I don't need to change fast for the type of photography I do, it's a non issue.

Perfect addition to my new R6MkII and an absolutely necessity for adding attachments. The possibilities are endless with all the connection points and it does a terrific job of not obstructing any of the controls, which was not the case on another brand that I tried first. The construction is very solid and I've added a side handle, external mic and viewing monitor, so now the only limitation is my own strength as she's a tank!
