SmallRig Magnetic Mount for Action Camera - Works great with my Osmo Nano and the magnetic hold is really strong. Love the quick release plate and the 1/4 threading gives lots of mounting options. Magnet feels secure even with movement. Build quality is solid like other SmallRig stuff. Good value and an easy to use versatile mount to have in your kit.

I'm using this mount for a DJI Action 4, which is in an aftermarket cage. The mount itself is typical Smallrig quality, so it's pretty good. The interface is a bit tight, but I expect it to smooth out with a little use. The magnet is strong enough to mount to a metal surface, though it does need to be mounted vertically. The magnet isn't strong enough that I would trust it to hold under movement though. Its nice that you can set up for a low shot, and have some adjustability with this mount, as shown in the product pictures. The legs don't lock, and move relatively freely, but not so loose that they just swing around. The mount is also threaded for a standard 1/4-20 female, and has 2 indexing holes. Probably a bit high for the price, and like I said earlier, it is a niche accessory that will have limited use.

The mount is solid metal and the hinges feel very firm yet smooth. The versatility of being able to use this magnetically, as an articulating mini stand, on an arca-swiss tripod, or attached to a 1/4-20, while connecting to an action cam-style "fork" makes this worth keeping in your kit. It's a neat idea for a unique mount, and it's pulled off well. It's very sturdy, and because of the metal construction it has a little bit of weight to it, but it's quick and easy to setu up, and is a fair price in my opinion.

I don't think I've gotten anything from SmallRig yet that hasn't impressed me and this small magnetic mount is no exception. This is a great quality accessory that is made well with a strong magnet. I think you will be happy with it. I sure am. The metal itself is pretty heavy in your hand. Everything fits together nicely. There's no sharp edges. Even the screw at the top feels really heavy-duty. It's super easy to use and you can use it in a couple of ways. The two legs fold out and they can stand up on a table as a mini tripod, all three of the legs have strong magnets embedded into the metal on the back and it'll stick to metal surfaces with the legs in or out. The thumb screw is very easy to twist even with gloves on and clamps down nicely.

Nice quality magnetic mount for my action 6. The mount is pretty small, but it works very well at holding up my action 6 with no problem ( see photo). The movable leg act as a tiny tripod for my camera, I choose to lay them out flat for more stability, but I can prop it up although I wouldn’t recommend doing this because it’s quite unstable in this position. I’m sure this would be no issue with the nano though. I thought the mount could double as a selfie vlogging handle too, but my hands are much too large for it to comfortably walk around with this in my hand (see photo). I do wish that the base had more padding across the surface just to make sure I don’t scratch up whatever surface I put this on though. But for poles, and other surfaces I don’t have to worry about potentially marring this is good option.

This little small rig is so cute and mini and perfect. It fits the Osmo 360 perfectly. I think the little stand it so cool and I& love that it is also magnetic and it is STRONG! It stuck to my fridge with ease and just stayed there! Your camera is super secure too because it is held on by a super thick screw/bolt. I absolutely recommend this and the pricing is super favorable as well.
