  • Multiple Mounting Points: The cage has multiple 1/4"-20 holes and 3/8"-16 positioning holes for ARRI, which can attach accessories such as the upper handle 3765, the side handle 2093, and the monitor stand 2903B. There are 2 built-in cold shoe interfaces, which can install microphones, fill lights and other equipment; the QD hole at the bottom is compatible with QD shoulder straps. Holes are reserved on both sides and bottom of the cage to attach Wrist Strap PAC2456 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428.
  • Three-Point Locking: A positioning pin is added at the bottom of the cage, and the 1/4"-20 screw and the left M2.5 screw form a three-point locking to make the camera stable. Adjust the direction of the left locking slider to adapt to different models, [A7 IV] side is suitable for Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, [A7S III/A1] side is suitable for Alpha 7S III / Alpha 1 / Alpha 7R IV
  • All-Round Protection: Built-in all-round rubber gasket to prevent scratches. With the cage installed, the camera interface, dials, buttons and changing batteries are not affected. The opening and closing wrench design is added to the position of the battery compartment, which fits the curve of the fuselage more, solves the problem of placing the little finger, and enhances the grip of the fuselage.
  • Built-in Quick Release Plate: The bottom quick release plate for Arca has added 1/4"-20 holes with a spacing of 18mm, which is compatible for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro, and can also be adapted to DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 stabilizer mounting board (riser plate) and SmallRig Quick Release Plate for Arca 3154.

I recently bought the SmallRig Full Camera Cage for my Sony A7 IV, and I'm really happy with it! It's lightweight, yet sturdy enough to handle all of my shoots. I love how easy it is to attach and detach the camera from the cage with just a few screws. The mounting points on the cage are very convenient and allow me to mount whatever accessories I need without taking up too much space. The top handle makes it easy to carry the cage around with me wherever I go, while still providing plenty of protection for the camera body. The extra side and bottom plates provide added stability when shooting handheld or on a tripod. And if I ever need more protection, there are also optional rubber dampeners that can be attached to protect the camera from any bumps or drops. Overall, I am definitely happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this full camera cage for anyone looking for an affordable way to protect their Sony A7 IV from scratches and other damage. I love the look and feel. Makes my rig look better. Lol. Only con. Is it feels like it wants to come lose when I hold it from the top handle because it only has mounting points on the bottom basically.

    • Battery door does open fully
The Smallrig works great on my SONY A7R V. There is a small swinging arm on the front of the bottom plate under finger tips on grip side that swings open so the battery door can opens fully.

I cannot believe that I waited so long to get this. What a game changer for my Sony A7Siii. This provides everything I needed - 3 cold shoes, numerous threaded mount points, etc. It is lightweight, very sturdy, and even comes with a handy wrench and screwdriver that hides away magnetically.
