  • Well worth it
As many have stated, this product won't make your gas coach ride like an airbag suspension diesel pusher, however, you will be extremely happy with what I does do for you. I just took our first trip after installing these on my 2008 Winnebago Vista and these springs greatly reduced some highly annoying vibrations. We also saw a huge improvement when it came to larger trucks passing us at interstate speeds. What I was most impressed with was the way the coach handled the speed bumps at our favorite campground (Ft Wilderness). When we inch over the speed bumps at check-in, we typically brace ourselves for impact. We were amazed as we silently traversed the speed bump with little to no impact on the coach. Installation was relatively simple. I went down to Harbor Freight and bought some cheap drill bits and blasted through the frame with little effort. You just really need to be mindful of the wires and hoses that run behind the frame rail while drilling. I was able to install a front and rear set of Sumos without removing the tires, using the Jack's to assist in about 4 hours (solo). I also threw on a steering stabilizer which has also made RVing a dream but I digress...... If you are on the fence when it comes to buying these springs or a steering stabilizer, just jump! You'll be glad you did ... show more

  • Another great upgrade to the F53 chassis
Fairly easy to install. I didn’t have to remove the tires. I used a right angle drill and worked well. Just watch out for wires and stuff on the other side of the frame. Definitely helped smooth out the ride and the swaying. Highly recommend these. I’m super happy with them.

  • Night and day
I installed the front and what a difference but when I installed the rear it made all the difference, It was a night a day difference, so much more stable and I was able to install without taking the the any wheels off. I will definitely recommend these.

  • Directions were wrong.
The instruction were inaccurate . Wrong drill size and wrong measurement on top bracket. Otherwise great product. Performs as advertised.

  • I waited way too long to do the upgrade
The rear ones were a bit harder to install than the fronts, motorhome maker attached the coach frame in the way of the sumo spring, had to cut out about an inch of the 1x1 support. put 4200 miles on the first trip, handles much better in the wind and hardly feel 18-wheelers passing me now

  • Still rides like a truck
Very difficult to install and did not provide the ride improvement I expected. Both the SSF-180-40-1 Sumo Springs and this SSR-180-54-1 Sumo Spring were installed on my MH with and F-53 chassis. Still rides like a truck!

  • They are great
Installed these on our 2005 Holiday Rambler Admiral, this vehicle has 84000 miles on it and the ride was very loose and sloppy before the SumoSprings. We just finished a 400 mile run over various road surfaces and varying wind conditions, totally different motorhome, amazing. The lean and sway eliminated. White knuckle driving gone, a joy to drive. ... show more
