- Compatibility: SMALLRIG Cage for Sony ZV-E10 3531 is designed to provide accessory mounts and protection. The cage is locked via a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and further with an included anti-deflection lock to prevent twisting.
- Quick Release Plate for Arca-Swiss: The quick release plate for Arca-Swiss on the bottom attaches directly to the tripod for Arca-Swiss type for quick switching among handheld, tripod, and stabilizer shooting scenes.
- Maintain Full Access: The cage maintains access to buttons, card slots, battery compartment, and flip screen. With a cut-out slot left at the battery door for dummy battery cable, the camera can be placed flat on the table when using a dummy battery.
- Multiple Mounting Points: The cage comes with cold shoe mounts both at the top and the bottom for microphone and LED light. It also features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI standard. The bottom threaded holes are designed for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro stabilizer quick-release plate (upper) to improve stabilizer shooting experience.
- More Thoughtful Details: The cage features rubber cushions on the top and bottom inside to prevent scratches. And it comes with a magnetic flat-head screwdriver for easy disassembly and assembly.

There isn’t a NATO rail on the side as shown in the picture. Secondly, there’s no locating pins on the side rails like there is on the top to stop things with only one screw from spinning.

UPDATEDI was really excited to get this cage, it seems well planned out and solid construction except for an important thing. I was disappointed to learn I couldn't get my mic in the hot shoe of the camera. Then I asked the question about this here and someone said to use the cold shoe on the cage! So user error here. It's working just fine now. So if you just place you mic on the cage instead of your camera hot shoe you'll be good to go!

This is one of Smallrig's beautifully designed cages...except for one fatal flaw. The cage design does NOT allow for Sony's hotshoe designed microphones to be fully seated in the hot shoe. Since they can't reach the contacts of the MIS (Multi-Interface Shoe), they simply won't work. And you have no fall back because they are designed to work cordlessly through the contacts of the MIS shoe. The same will go for flash units, or anything designed to work cordless with the ZV-e10's multi-interface shoe. Smallrig needs to go back to the drawing board on this (they should really stop selling this one) and fix this. If they did, it would be a winner. But as it is, it's a no-go. Returned.

The design flaw makes this cage useless if you want to use it with a flash. That's why there is a new design. I wish the company would give a discount to those of us that bought the original flawed product

Overall design is good. There’s limited space for attaching stuff. This product gives a few options that works well when needed.
