This little safe is great! It's small but just big enough for a bedroom or office if you need to keep some things safe. It is easy to set the code, and the backup keys fit well. The handle is a bit clunky when you turn it, but it works fine and clicks into place like it should. It is heavy and sturdy, like it wouldn't break open if you dropped it or anything. I trust this 0.23 Cu Ft safe to secure my documents and some petty cash in my office. I have purchased gun safes and valuables safes before and this is just as great quality as their other safes. It is small but sturdy and has light metal alloy steel on the sides and back and a heavy front. Dimensions are as-advertised: 6.69"D x 9.05"W x 6.69"H. I like the simplicity of this safe and the small size makes it easy to hide in a closet or tucked under a bed. I intend to bolt it down in a secret spot. Great little safe which I use for smaller items. I use a larger one for documents, etc.. Safe works off battery/keypad as well as standard key. Made of metal and easy to creatively hide away due to size. The safe also comes with screws for you to bolt it down. Obviously not heavy duty. I could cut into it with a recip saw. But it is inexpensive and can fit in a hidden cubbyhole bolted down where it would be difficult to get past the front door. I could also see it useful for a child's use, but I found it practical for my own adult needs as well.

Good little safe for a teenager. This helps keep my teenagers "valuables" safe from his little brother, with "valuables" like Pokemon cards and other trinkets. We had one that was very similar, almost identical to this one that the code was lost and the key failed to work, and only took short work with a flat prybar to get into it... so don't expect this to be protecting all your precious gold bars and 10 lb diamonds... it's just a simple safe for stuff that really isn't all that important. Overall, for a kid, this is a good value.
