Perfect rubber mallet ! So many different scenarios to be used. This is well made and has a hook at the end of handle so you could hang it as well. A nice long handle too ! I’ve used this several times already and am realizing how valuable a rubber mallet is to have around! I’d 100% recommend.

Very nice. Very well built. This (1.5) pounds(24oz) good heft but still light. This is meant for heavier use or stubborn items that need to be loosened. There are many different sizes for many different uses. Damage CAN STILL occur to surfaces that are thin skinned or flimsy in design/nature. Think about what you are pounding on and then get the appropriate size/weight. Tis would be handy for driving camping tent stakes into the ground. This is a RUBBER mallet and not meant for pounding metal spikes or fence posts. Little posts, like for propping, should be ok. Once you damage the rubber, pieces start falling/flying off. I couldn't wait to try this rock pick hammer out! I found a good spot to dig for rocks as soon as it arrived. I love the size of it. It's easy to hold and not too heavy to carry, but big enough to loosen up what you need it to. The bright yellow handle makes it easy to spot in the dirt if you lay it down while you're hunting. It feels nice and sturdy like it will hold up to regular use. If you have an older child who likes to rock hunt with you, it's easy enough for them to use too!
