Actual hammers that can be used for hammering. These are great. Handle is long for me to get use to but otherwise wonderful. I've broken Wal-Mart and ACE "Milwaukee" garbage in 1-2 projects.     • Good quality weighty hammers.
They seem to be nice and quality hammers, the ball peens do have a protective coating on them, but I'm sure that'll come off with use and it's likely only there to protect from rust. Definitely a good buy to round out my tool box.
