Actually weighs in at 36oz in total so it's definitely got some gravity... Otherwise it hits like a truck full of bricks. Almost no vibration gets transferred and it drives nails like a champ. The claws are a bit short for me but it's a durable hammer that won't kill your elbow.

Solid hammer, excellent at driving nails. The issue is that it has a polyurethane cover and when that wears off the hammer starts rusting. I've never seen anything like this. The ww2 era hammer my dad gave me has never rusted...
