I wanted some inexpensive so that I would move some indoor plants outside, I also had the crazy idea to start a DIY solar hydroponic system. I got the tent set up yesterday and finished my project and moved some of the other potted plants out today. I had to change the setup a bit using an old 60 gallon tank for my hydroponics and take the boot shelving out. It working out perfectly though! If I have it to do over I would get a bigger one so I had room to actually be in it working when it's cold, and just so you know it does not protect from freezing if it gets very cold. This is a very useful thing to have especially in the northwest where the weather likes to have several false springs. It has saved several of my plants. It's really easy to assemble. I held the frame down with landscape staples. The plastic with some wood lying around I didnt both with the external ties. It has held out very nicely against some windy storms even though it's not on even ground. The shelf clips are awesome and there definitely should be twice as many, but it somehow works. Made for holding trays since heavy pots are too much for the shelves. I just placed heavy items on the floor. Height is good ( I'm 5 6") I used it to protect from cold rather than start seedlings. ... show more

Bought this as a gift and was able to assemble it without any issues. While it definitely needed some extra securing for the very windy area where we installed the actual functionality as a mini greenhouse has been great. The plants and the gardener are both quite pleased.

The media could not be loaded. My daughter wants to learn planting. She is 13. I did not want to invest in a huge greenhouse or anything expensive. So, we opted for this. I remember that it came in a box. We got it for her birthday in the fall, then she didn't touch it until late winter/early spring. She spent a couple of hours putting it together. It has not blown away or fell apart, but she did use a rope to pull it together on one side. For someone exploring a hobby, this looks good. I did a video but who knows if it'll get uploaded! We're pleased with it, took inside of a half hour to set up. Fit perfectly on our deck. Couple pointers : lay out all the fittings I piles first, they're all stamped A to H, the poles too, just start from the bottom up. Not hard to assemble (not supersuper easy, but not hard either). Not real sturdy (will blow over in a good wind) and needs anchoring. But my seedlings love it and you cannot beat the price point. It is ventilated just enough, has long racks on both sides for flats. It is a little hard to maneuver around inside with long tools (too small) and the racks/poles do loosen and detach sometimes. They are not hard to re-attach though. It is warm and light and moist inside for seedlings (they like it!) Good for the price. ... show more
