Received the Melydo small flat iron. It is definitely light weight (plastic), at first it felt like it might be too cheap, but it really does heat up. I use oil on my hair, and after using it a couple of times, I notice that it does not burn the oil residue on the curling iron (of course, you should be wiping the excess oil off the curling iron each time you flat iron your hair) this will definitely keep the oil residue from sticking to the hot curling iron. Also, it really does grasp the short ends of the hair and straighten it. This also straighten thick strands as well. It will be nice to travel with as well. I would highly recommend purchasing the Melydo small flat iron.. What would really be cool is if they can make a foldable one that you could carry in your purse that would be cool as well.

Great for the bangs and making small curls! I have bangs that constantly curl under and it drives me crazy and I want them straight. I have tried other flat irons and they are way too big and I always get burned. I have to say that I am NOT a person with any flat iron skills so the fact I was able to pick this up and use it well the first time I tried is amazing. I usually have to suffer through heat and burns but not with this little guy. It works amazing. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I feel that it could be a little tighter when it’s on the hair BUT that might be the way it’s supposed to be. It also makes great little curls fast. It heats up extremely fast and cools down quickly. This is a great buy. It’s perfect for short hair. It was a great buy especially for the cost. I added a picture to show the actual size of it.

This heats up quickly and is really hot. I turn never have to use highest setting. I was using a wider iron with short handle but my dexterity is fail so a thinner iron& longer was called for. It's great styling my shirt cut. I love the long lasting shape and waves I get. I have chronic illness so ease of use is everything. The swivel cord changes so much. I don't have to contourt to figure out how to get the back. This thing is super hot. The ends have a vet so that's why they give you a glove. It's harder when I use the glove but that's me. Great tool for the price.n
