Trash! It arrived in a plastic bag so that should’ve been my first clue. The box you see in the picture is after I attempted to put this together and realized I would have to return it, so I got a box out that I had. Even though I could tell something was wrong with this, I figured, well, let me just try. The holes were all hollowed out so I couldn’t put it together, the pieces and parts were missing and the bag the screws and bolts came in was opened. I’m not sure if someone returned it like this or what happened but I’m very annoyed! Save your money and just buy something better. Even if all of the parts and pieces were with us, it’s still very cheaply made and very small. It would be fine for a kitten, but once the cat grows up, there’s no way a grown adult cat could even sit on it. It looks nothing like the pictures absolute garbage. ... show more

Reviewed by: Sir Felix Chokington III, 18 lbs, grey shorthair, mostly retired Let me start with what matters: the house on level three is magnificent. Roomy, private, appropriately dark. I can fit my entire body inside without any part of me hanging out in an undignified fashion, which is more than I can say for my previous residence (a cardboard box my human apparently thought was "charming"). The tunnels are similarly generous — wide enough that I can pass through without having to exhale first, which I consider a baseline requirement, not a luxury. The mice are exceptional. I don't know what they're stuffed with but they smell like something, and that something speaks to a part of my brain that predates civilization. Five stars on the mice. Alone worth the price. Now. Level two to level three. I don't want to dwell on this, but I will, because someone has to advocate for the larger-boned cat. The jump from the second platform to the third is — and I want to be precise here — technically achievable. I have done it. Once. I would prefer not to describe what happened, except to say that my human has not stopped mentioning it, and I have not forgiven him. For cats of my particular build and gravitas, this transition requires either (a) an embarrassing running start, (b) a second attempt after a brief rest and some quiet reflection, or (c) simply choosing to live on level two, which I have now done and made peace with. The house on level three has become aspirational. A vacation home I visit on good days. If the manufacturer would consider a gentler incline, or frankly a small escalator, I would revise to five stars without hesitation. Overall: excellent product. Built for cats. There is a design flaw, the cats are ha ing a hard time getting from the condo to the middle stoop , its directly above the condo so they cant leap onto it.
