    • 2.6 gal tank - ?is the heater adjustable? If not, mine was defective.
2.6 gallon - perfect size for the kitchen counter and my one betta fish. It was extremely quiet for the first week, but I can now hear the pump ever so slightly and moving it a bit doesn't help.... it would probably make me a little bit nuts if i wanted to sit it on a desk, but i'm overly sensitive to any rattles. Also, from what i can tell, the heater is not adjustable (???), could not find any info, last night the water was 86 degrees per my thermometer and the glass stick on thermometer. After gradually cooling the water down to 80-82, plugged it back in and temp later climbed to 84, so no longer using heater. Amazon gave me a 20% discount and i have purchased a new adjustable digital heater. ... show more

It’s a very nice looking tank, I haven’t put any animals in it so I’m not sure how well it can handle a bioload but it fits great on my table and I really like the brightness of the lights, pretty simple to set up and a great value for the money/the waterfall feature works very well!

The media could not be loaded. Putting it together was easy enough. The tank is great starter. Filter yada yada… one of the most important parts - the heater - broke within weeks!! One morning I go to check on her, and the water is like 65°!! Unacceptable!! Weird thing: the heating unit still works *outside* of the tank, but as soon as submerged, it’s no longer pulling its weight. I don’t need it outside the tank; kinda need it warming up the water… if you go with this purchase, be sure to get a back up heater. ... show more
