  • Completely silent 🔕
Size: 2.2 Cu. Ft.
I will say that it has far less space inside than I expected, especially at this price point. However, it was completely silent and that's all I cared about. It's in my bedroom and I hated hearing the buzz of my old one. So this is a win.

  • 7.4 amps and 96.9 watts draw: died after 6w
Size: 1.7 Cu. Ft.
I bought this one because I got a great deal on it used. It said it came in a damaged box and there were a couple dings in the back. No problem. The light doesn’t come on when running on 12v but does run quiet. This lil fridge cools well yet seems hungry for electricity?.. I haven’t compared any power consumption on other fridges but 7 1/2 amps constantly seems like a lot for my set up. I thought maybe after it cools or if I turn it down it will take less electricity. After 12 hours use it’s still at the same draw. Worth knowing. Perhaps, I’ll set this up on a toggle or timer and use the cooling as I see fit as it tends to stay cool long after reaching temp. Currently running with Ambient 50f degrees. Update: died after 6 weeks use. I did have it on a timer to run on even hours only. Maybe that done it in? Before it died.. I noticed the smell. Now I’m back looking for a different fridge and I’ll have to rebuild where it goes. ... show more

  • Not a bad little fridge
Size: 1.1 Cu. Ft.
I bought this for use in a bedroom. My criteria were "about 1 cu ft", "black", "all fridge, no freezer" and "reversible door". That pretty much eliminated everything but this. Pros: One big one - this is the quietest refrigerator you or I will ever encounter anywhere. It is literally dead silent, not even fan noise. You could be the world's lightest sleeper and this fridge won't bother you, ever. Also, it gets plenty cold enough (nearly freezing) as long as it is used at normal room temperature, not in a hot environment. The unit seems to be quite well made, with an all metal shell. Has nice inside illumination. Has a key lock to keep kids out. Will run on 12 volts if desired, but it really isn't well suited for mobile or RV use. Cons: Expensive. Took a month to arrive. Rather large outside for its small size inside. Puts off a fair amount of heat. You cannot recess this unit tightly in a cabinet, it must have 3-4 inches of ventilation space around it. Inside space is at a premium. I can fit a half gallon of milk and 6-20oz. plastic soda bottles, plus a couple of small items on an upper shelf, and a few very thin (smaller than a soda can) items in the door racks. The door seal needs to be less stiff, with a stronger magnet. The instructions are poor and badly translated. Humor: The usual ridiculous list of "lawyer warnings" includes one saying "do not use for food storage". I got a good laugh out of that. That's like buying a lawn mower and having it say "do not use to cut grass". This works fine for food storage if the ambient temp is below 85F or so. Thoughts: Overall it meets my needs. The utterly silent operation is a huge plus. ... show more

  • It gets very hot on the outside and it's very small inside
Size: 1.7 Cu. Ft.
It's too small for most things you'd want to put in it, it gets very hot on the outside, so even though he inside is cold anything on top of (or in drawer above) will be piping hot. We like to store chocolate or gummies and batteries in the drawer above and it isn't great. It also says it's low draw which may be kinda true but the 400 watts of solar and the 400amp hour batteries are having a hard time keeping up even with the only thing running is our max air vent. Also the lock on it does not keep it all the way closed, if you have a bumpy ride it will let the door crack just enough to keep the inside from cooling since it gets so hot around it! Not super happy with it but arrived just in time for our month long excursion so there's no sending it back. ... show more

  • Great compromise fridge!
Size: 2.1 Cu. Ft.
Works great, simple operation, directions are a bit fuzzy but overall coherent. This was installed in a truck camper that has a limited space design for a fridge. Evaporation coolers are a compromise between weight, power consumption, and use - If you have not used one before there are a few things to keep in mind (this may address those negative comments). With an Evap Cooler, the fridge utilizes a chemical that when heated and cooled creates a chilling effect to reduce temperatures inside the unit. This functions similarly to a compressor cooler but the result is not as quick as a compressor. Keeping the cooler out of direct sunlight, and reducing exposure to warmer environments assists in keeping food and beverages cool. In a camper or vehicle this is easy to do. Keeping the door closed except to retrieve an item will also help. Keep in mind that this is a "compromise" fridge where power, space, noise, and weight are better addressed while still providing a cold environment for your food and beverages. Having dual power for our camper install is great because we can run the fridge on either 12v battery or 120vac utility power depending on where we are staying. ... show more

  • Worked great for a week
Size: 1.4 Cu. Ft.
Worked great for the first week. Silent, cooled effectively, perfect for my bedroom. Then came the ammonia leak. Cooling power became weaker and noise began. Thankfully, I was still able to return it for a refund.
