The cot was easy to assemble with the instructions that are included. The cot is durable and sturdy. I found it comfortable laying on it on my side and back, there was good support. A lightweight pad was included with elastic bands at each corner to keep it on the cot. Although it’s lightweight it is comfortable and would require purchasing a separate bag, possibly a compression bag, if I you traveled with it. It was easy to fold back up and put in the bag. We got this for when our grandson comes to visit or someone else needing to a place to crash. I found the cot very sturdy. Its metal frame didn’t allow for the usual sagging and “I wonder if I’m gonna fall thru” nightmare. While I haven’t slept on it yet, my grandson said it was very comfortable. He’s a good size 12 yo so he would know. The instructions to close it back up are not clear at all. It will take a little experimentation to push and pull on the correct areas. But once you figure it out it’s easy enough. Getting it in the bag (including the mattress) we have not mastered yet. But we have the room to store it all. I believe this would be an awesome cot for camping or getaways. Canoeing even. So, go ahead and get it if you’re questioning yourself. You’ll be glad you did! Shalom ... show more

Apparently don't put the pad in the washing machine. Received the product, cot was easy to unfold and close up again. The pad/mattress came vacuum sealed, I took it out of the bag and it was flat as a pancake. Figured I'd throw it in the wash on gentle to puff it up again. NOPE, DUMB IDEA.(in my defense, there's no tag or washing instructions anywhere) lol the mattress ripped at the seams and got a big hole in it, FLUFF EVERYWHERE. Really not sure why they even included this, it's so cheap and thinner than a sleeping bag, and apparently you can't clean it. ... show more

I finally had the opportunity to use my cot. I loved it! The hight was perfect for me to get up out of it. It was easy to set up and take down and comfortable to sleep on. My only complaint is not having something to put the mattress pad in.
