Its fine for what it is. The back of our couch is made up of 3 large pillows, I originally bought two sets to use the cushion covers for them. That didn't work. But I'm glad I got 2 sets because the covera for the couch cushions didn't fit and the love seat cushion covers baaaarely fit. The cover did not disappoint! Fits perfectly on my couch and very easy to put on. Which is a huge plus for me, since I have two large hairy dogs. This was perfect solution when I replaced our couch at our beach house this year. Due to covid I was not able to get color I wanted, plus I have 4 dogs and cat in small cottage. The cover fit like it was original material. I can't attest to the water resistance as it has not been tested. Long and short Dog fur does stick to it, but vaccums off easily. I got these because I have 2 big dirty dogs, 3 cats and 3 kids and I was sick of deep cleaning my couch once every 2-3 weeks to keep them from making my whole living room smell musty. Took about 15 mins to get them on, my couches were on the largest side of the measurements that this cover would fit so i didn’t have much material to adjust and tuck. They look great! I love the color. I’m thinking of buying another set or two to use while I wash the others. With a little throw blanket and some pillows you can barely tell the couch has a cover on it and for the convenience of not having to spot clean spilled milk and other unmentionables out of my couches frequently I’ll take it. Most slipcovers do not hold up to the nails digging in when hoping up and down or standing to bark out the window, ugh lol. I was skeptical when I bought these covers because they were so cheap. So far they are working great though. I bought all 3 sizes for my living room, because I have 3 large dogs that like to get on the furniture. The covers were easy to install, and they are staying in place. I have had them for a couple of months, and they are holding up well. Our Australian Shepard is 10 months old, about 70 pounds, and he is very energetic, but so far these covers are holding up to him. Did not realize that the cover had a texture to it. When I out it on my couch, I was shocked how nice it looked and it fit perfectly. I kept my removable cushions in the outside of the couch versus underneath it, to it does bunch up in the top corners a bit. That is completely my doing tho. And I have gotten so many compliments on it. Looks like a brand new couch. I hated the hideous-ness of what it originally looks like, but it's one of those couches that everyone says is the most comfortable ones ever.
