Yes, it greens the grass—I tested a patch and was discernible from the rest in 3-4 days. Some granules are big and so I had touch time spreading in through my handheld spreader. But I will continue to use it as it’s effective! It’s pricey but still value.

    • Very slow release which what I wanted. Much better mix that big box retailers.

This is a light, slow release formula. Applied in spring to sod planted last fall and even with extended periods of heat and no rain, grass a nice thick green. Will apply again, according to directions in early September. Not sure about coverage but spreaders are not the most precise flow measuring devices so...I like it and will continue to use it until it proves itself not to be what I need. As with any lawn fertilizer, do not overdo it. If the grass is growing, don't fertilize. Fertilizer can not correct for too high or too low, PH or water. ... show more
