It's functional and sturdy enough to hold a super king-sized quilt. It's tall enough to hold it completely off the ground, too. The clips also worked well to hold the quilt to the top crossbar.

I love the size and the case it comes with. It's easy to put together and doesn't take long to put together either. It's huge, I couldn't believe all the way it extends to get taller. I hit my ceiling the first time. The instructions are basically worthless. It shows you what you have and gives you steps without actually explaining anything. The hardest/trickiest thing was putting it away. There are springs in the base legs that make it a few inches taller at both locking points(when you first unlock it to extend you see it pop up), so you have to push it down a little harder and lock it otherwise it won't fit back in your bag because it'll be too tall. I wish it had a little zipper pocket somewhere for the clips and extra pieces, but I just used the clips to hold a zip lock bag to hold against the pocket for the base legs, that way I don't have to dig around for anything. ... show more

I was skeptical at first to purchase this because I read some negative reviews. I decided that I would just buy it and if I didn’t like it I would return it. I love the carrying case and how everything is organized in it. It looks official. The value for the amount of money that you spend for this is it extremely good. My friend has the Neewer one that is very flimsy so I thought this would be similar. Nope. Way better. I especially like how wide and tall it is. I do plan to get some metal dowels to put between the crossbars to add more sturdiness and I did buy some weights to keep the base sturdy. This is 100% not heavy duty. Therefore, I have to give it three stars. It is adequate. But definitely not heavy duty not suited for heavy or repeated use. Metal tubing is very thin and can easily be crushed. Would that being said, if you only are using this a few times a year, it will be more than adequate. But if you are a professional, I would steer clear of this unless you need a short term solution. ... show more
