The first week it off-gassed a really strong plastic odor (very unpleasant). After that the smell went away and it works perfectly, and matches my decor. I should have left it outside for a week before putting it in my tub, because the smell was so strong it made me want to never use my master bathroom that entire week. The smell actually leaked out into my bedroom if I left the door open, it was that strong.

After a slip wipe out in my tub, I decided to pursue safer traction. I first looked at roll on options, but decided when I read that they wear off (some reviewers said that it happended rather quickly), I decided on a rubber mat instead. Although the color on the website did not match what arrived (was browner than the beige sample), I still gave this product 5 stars. Fit well, and after the suction cups adhered to the floor of the tub, seems very safe and truly non slip. Satisfied.

This mat checked every box for me. It doesn't slide when you first lay it down. Instead as you step on it, the big suction cups flatten themselves. Not lumps to stand on. Nice traction without feeling rough on your feet. love the huge choice of colors. This is huge,and since I like to drape my on the edge of the tub between uses , this is a bit awkward. my choice to do this, to cut down on moisture. Other reviews mentioned smell. Except for that plastic smell the first time I unrolled it, I haven't noticed anything like an odor since.
