I wouldn't usually return something as inconsequential as a bath mat.... but this is the worst bath mat I've ever encountered. As soon as I stood on it I felt pain. The sucker cups on this Pebble Bath Mat stab your feet as effectively as actual pebbles. (Imagine being barefooted and strolling over the plains of Mordor; constantly impaled by sharp little stones and errant spear heads whilst inhaling the poisonous fumes of Mount Doom) But lets set aside for a moment the intense discomfort and talk, instead, about it's composition. (See attached photo) Why, in the whole wide world of thermosetting polymers, would one choose to make their product with materials that could produce flipper babies? If a material causes cancer when it comes into contact with naked skin and it's sole function is to come into contact with naked skin then one has to wonder whether the manufacturer doesn't want to kill us. This isn't a bathmat. It's a toxic, foot-stabby torture device suitable only for podiatric torment or smiting the unborn children of your enemies. Will not buy again.

It is a bit smaller than I would like, but I knew that beforehand and extra long types not appropriate for my size tub. The blue color matches the "flower-shaped" tiles in the floor, which appealed to me.

It looks nice. It smells awful. And it feels TERRIBLE. The thickness of the pebbles with suction cups is Significantly thicker than the pebbles without suction cups, leading to a very bumpy and inconsistent surface, which feels an awful lot like you're trying to shower while standing on small river rocks. I added pictures to hopefully illustrate the thickness difference for those who think "oh, maybe they just have tender feet!" I don't. I walk around barefoot regularly, indoors and out. This mat is awful. I feel like I bruised my heels just taking a shower.

Disappointing, hard like rocks under my feet and a regrettable purchase and waste of time. I should be rewarded for buying such a terrible product and being so inconvenienced in returning it. This product looked great on the website and the reviews were decent, and because I don't like playing slip and slide in the shower, decided to give it a whirl. When it arrived, there was a noticeable chemical smell that persists somewhat to this day (after almost a month). It sticks well enough (after you place it and tamp it down), but it slowly slides down until you have to reposition the whole thing. Just yesterday I noticed it's already broken in one spot. Finally, the auction cups feel hard under my feet and it actually hurts to stand in this mat. Overall, would not recommend and won't buy again.

Out of the box it looks amazing feel interesting and smells horrible. It added a bit of a foot massage feel to the shower though my one year old is a bit less sure footed on it I think most will appreciate that. The horrible smell of the materiel off gassing is quite pungent though and I will be replacing it if it dons not subside quickly. It was enough to give me a headache the first AM.

This may is a perfect replacement for my tub, I was unhappy with my precious mat then I stumbled upon this one. I like the flow through design so hair that gets under the mat and soap or whatever gets under there is easy to clear out with lifting it up. The mat has a river rock feel that kind of massages your feet as you step on it and walk around. I have been very happy so far

Truly like standing on pebbles, the pebble texture is hard with no give. No matter how you move your feet, the raised pebbling does not soften or flex and rather than a massage it's like torture. If you like walking on hot coals or sleeping on a bed of nails then this mat would be good for your tub or in the guest bathroom (so visitors limit their stay). The mat is well made, not skimpy material, and is bright and very clear, albeit with a strong vinyl/chemical smell that is common for this material. The mat's nice looks, and smell that gradually goes away, makes you want to like it. It's too bad a "medium/mild" pebble hardness version is not offered.
