Great fit for thin and thick window frames
Color: Silver Number of Items: 2
These work great. They fit both thin and thick window frames, making them very versatile. I also like that they have plastic pads where the screws tighten, so the pressure is applied to the plastic instead of directly against the window frame, helping prevent scratches or damage. They feel sturdy, were easy to install, and keep the window from sliding open securely. Highly recommend. ... show more

I just received this item and I must say I’m impressed. I had my husband try to pull and take it off. It wouldn’t budge. The window will move an inch. My son was able to pull the window up and destroyed our window screen. Bedroom window on the 2nd floor. So my fears took over and I had to find something that will protect my kids. This is it! Very easy to assemble, great price, and very sturdy and promising as described in description. ... show more

Simple and effective

My Central AC went out and living in the south, no AC in the summer is a health hazard. I had to use window AC units, but I didn’t want to drill holes in my windows to secure the units, as they were temporary for only a few weeks. These worked amazing, ensuring my windows stayed snug to the units. Not only did it solve the issue of not wanting to drill holes, it made my home more secure from people that may attempt to break in when ai wasn’t at home. Very quick, easy, can be adjustable at any point on the window, and highly cost effective. I would recommend for anyone wanting a little more security and especially if you have a troublesome window that doesn’t always lock properly. ... show more

Got this for my college kid's apartment and it works great. The only complaint about this lock is the key. The yellow part of the key which you hold and turn to tighten/loosen the lock is a little too wide and hits the side of the window as it turns. If the yellow part was slightly narrower, then it would be perfect. I like that a clear plastic was provided with the lock. You put this clear plastic between the window and where the two screws make contact. The plastic prevents the two screws from marring/marking the window, though after tightening the lock in place, I did not loosen and removed the lock to see if the two screws left indentations in the window frame after tightening. Overall, it's a decent lock that is easy to install, and hopefully provide some sense of security from anyone trying to lift the window from outside and entering your room. ... show more

Over all great product!
Color: Silver Number of Items: 2
I purchased these sliding window locks to add an extra layer of security to my home, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. They’re sturdy, easy to install, and give me peace of mind knowing that my windows are much harder to force open from the outside. Installation & Fit: The locks are adjustable and fit both vertical (up-and-down) and horizontal sliding windows. Installation was simple—no drilling or permanent modifications required. Once tightened with the included key, the locks hold firmly in place and don’t shift. Build Quality: The solid metal construction feels durable and secure. The silver finish looks clean and blends well with standard window frames. Unlike cheaper alternatives, these don’t feel flimsy or like they could be broken with a little pressure. Security & Function: The locks create a strong barrier that prevents the window from sliding open beyond the point you choose. I like that I can adjust them to leave a small gap for ventilation while still keeping the window locked against intrusion. The keyed design adds another level of security, making it harder for someone to tamper with. ... show more
