    • This did the job for my 2012 Jeep Compass
2012 Jeep Compass latitude - After careful troubleshooting, the gas cap message and check engine light kept going on, after some research, I found this part was usually the cause for the issue, I replaced the gas cap 2x before realizing my issue was much more deeper. The sensor arrived and it was an exact match and came along with a seal ring. To remove the old one, no jack or lift was needed, I just went under the rear of car and removed the rubber hose attached, I released the sensor tab, and then turned the Evaporator clock wise to release it. I then removed the seal ring, cleaned a bit, then placed new seal, installed new unit counter clock wise, and it clicked right in, attached sensor and hose, done! It was a very simple and quick repair (10 min), I drove the car over 600 miles and that dreaded Gas Cap message hasn’t returned. ... show more

Fit perfectly and fixed “small leak” sensor check engine on 2014 (2011-2018 are the same I believe) Chrysler T&C. Not a mechanic and there was no need to remove wheel, just lifted car and was able to change in 30min.

Had the P0456 code intermittently on my 2013 Chrysler town and country. Had a shop inspect but they found nothing and the error went away. Came back a week later and I researched it. Stumbled across a youtube video that suggested this part was the most common reason for the code. It was cheap enough I figured why not. It was super easy to replace.
