I sprained both of my ankles this week when I fell down. Thankfully they are weight bearing (no fractures) but I need to wear braces for the next couple of months. I have bought some from the local pharmacy but they were not as great. These are really comfortable to wear and I feel the support they are providing. Not at all bulky. I got this because I tore some tendons and chipped my ankle bone. I’m an outside sales agent and it’s hard driving in a boot. I needed the support and it was so difficult putting the boot on and off throughout the day. This brace is soft, comfortable, and provides a lot of stability and support. I really like it. This product is two pieces - the sock that you slip on and then the wrap that you fix around to stabilize the ankle area. It works okay but not as stable or as strong as we were hoping. You can get the wrap only so tight on a smaller foot because there is only so much of the sock you can stick it to and it does loosen over time - similar to tying your shoes and with movement it sort of loses the hold. It works fine for fitting in shoes and compression but not really for stability. ... show more

I fell down the stairs and got a bad sprained ankle. The brace was too tight with both the sleeve and the wrap. I just used the sleeve and it worked well for me.

I could barely get my size 9.5 EEE foot through it. When I did, it was too tight. For my daughter who has a smaller foot, leg, it's great. But if you have large feet of think ankles, keep looking.

After the boot comes off, you’ll likely still need ankle support for pain relief and stability. Most of the sleeves I tried rubbed me the wrong way- literally. The stuff Velcro tabs hit on/over the internal fixation hardware, and healing skin at those points is very sensitive. This sleeve provides even support, with tabs overlapping at the BACK of the ankle, not over incision sites, and the strap stays secure, so no rubbing at all. And what about this rainbow of choices! This sleeve means business, but lets you enjoy some color and whimsy while you heal. ... show more
