States its a plush mattresses but its more like medium firm. When it comes to the springs it feels like they take up 90 percent of the mattress while the foam takes 10. Overall build quality for 400 could be better

Firmness: Very firm, just like others have stated in reviews, which is what led me to buy this mattress to begin with. Quality: The Sleepmax Hybrid looks and feels like a high quality mattress, especially for the price(~$271 for the 12 inch Queen hybrid, after the $145 off coupon and tax), and free shipping. Much more bang for your buck compared to the more expensive popular brands. Comfort: I prefer more firm mattresses, so to me it is very comfortable so far. It included a plastic piece with a small blade to cut the plastic. I didn’t realize until I cut it open with scissors and the bed started inflating. It is pretty heavy around 113 pounds I believe, it’s best to get someone to help, but it is do-able to maneuver it and get it up onto a bed frame yourself, as long as the frame is sturdy enough. There wasn’t much of an odor with this bed, and it does look like it is fiberglass free as they have stated. If anything changes, I will update this review. But as of now I’m very pleased with the purchase. There are millions of bed in a box companies out there, and it is extremely overwhelming looking for the right mattress to buy. I know I was overwhelmed, I spent many hours searching through YouTube, Reddit, and Google to see which was the right mattress to buy. If you’re looking for a firm hybrid of high quality, you can’t go wrong with the Sleepmax.
