I love this little scooter, it is for my one year old grandson's Christmas. While I cannot comment on if it is easy to assemble, as it's still in the box, or if all parts are there, I can say I took everything out of the box and it is all quality. The body of the Radio Flyer is made of a hard plastic. The little wheels have what feels like rubber tires, will be nice and quiet on my kids floor. It's lightweight so it will be easy for your little one to push around or get on and ride. My grandson just took his first three steps today, so he should be able to have fun on it in no time. I highly recommend this for baby's first scooter, because it is quality in every part of it, lightweight, can be used indoors/outdoors and it is too darn cute for words. This is a very sturdy, yet lightweight bike. My grandson loves it. He grew into it (I bought it at age 14 months he is now 22 months) because a certain amount of leg strength is required.     • Easy assembly, sturdy, great play value!
This was an immediate hit with both grandkids, ages 1.5 and 3.5 years. They enjoyed it in the sunporch, through the living room, and outside on the driveway. It does have rudimentary steering capabilities, but that wasn't a big concern. It looks sturdy, and I hope it lasts a long time.

    • Scootin' Scooter!! A plastic classic.
Great indoors or out. Rubber tires that won't slide from under them. Super light but sturdy. Perfect size for the littlest of the little ones. Surprisingly large storage right under their butt thats easy to open and shut without slamming on their hands or face. Simple stirring. And they can rest their feet on the front axle and cruise downhill. Easiest to assemble, they could even help you. And it looks like this could last long enough to be a hand-me-down more than once, even if left outside.     • Favorite toy by far for our 2 year old!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for our son when he was right at 2 years old. It was an impulse purchase for an out of town trip, and I wasn’t expecting much. He needed something to play with outside at my in-laws’ house. It quickly became a favorite and now, about four months later, it is still his number one favorite thing. We don’t go to the park without it! I expect he’ll fit until about age 3, then it will be time to pass it on. But for the number of hours he’s already spent on this thing, I would have paid double the price. It’s easy to turn, and there’s a great place to put his little feet up when he wants to coast. If he cuts the steering wheel too quickly, he could fall off. It’s happened a couple times. It’s so low to the ground, he doesn’t get hurt. Just surprised, maybe. I didn’t like it at first (obviously), but now I’ve seen him learn to shift his balance a little to stay on. So cool! ... show more
