I got this for my daughter who loves firm mattresses - and she LOVES it. She kept stressing to me that you've got to love a firm mattress to love this. It has a little bit of a pillow top but it's enough to make it comfortable - it doesn't take away from it's firmness. It's not like you're laying on a board, it's just very firm. I expect this to last a very long long time. It's a great mattress for a couple (who likes firm mattresses) because when one person moves, it doesn't cause any movement on the rest of the bed. I'm always hesitant of mattresses that come rolled up but the last few that I've bought that way have been excellent - it doesn't take away from the quality or integrity of the mattress. Once opening it, you have to let it sit for 48-72 hours. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this mattress. It's $300 and worth every bit of it. It seems incredibly high quality - you are getting more than what you're paying for. I recommend HIGHLY!

When I saw how small the shipping box was, I thought I had made a terrible miscalculation and that surely this was designed to require a box spring, but when I got it unrolled on the bed and broke the plastic seal and it started expanding it was mind-blowing to see not only how large it got, but also to feel how firm it was. There was no obnoxious offgassing smell. The workmanship and quality seem great - no stitching problems or misshapen areas. It's hard to give it a thorough evaluation after only a week of use, but so far it has been fantastic. The mattress is firm but has good enough give to support restful sleep. The only downside, so far, of buying a mattress from Amazon instead of from a local shop is that most of the local shops have a haul-away service they'll tack onto the bill for a small fee and they'll get rid of your old mattress for you. If you buy it like this, you need to plan for getting rid of it yourself. Can definitely recommend. Will update the review later if the situation changes.

This is a comfortable and convenient option for shipping a bed. The mattress was shrink wrapped and rolled up. It expanded quickly and was probably ready to sleep on in a few hours. Waited 24 hrs before first night’s rest and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable this is for the price.

This product is a very good quality full size deep sleep mattress that is a hotel collection style made with plush hybrid memory foam material that offers comfort with extra lumbar & hip pressure pain support relief. The full size mattress is a proper size of 74”L x 54”W x 12”Th & has a soft breathable posh white top with individual pocket springs, a gray colored soft side foam padding edge support with the ‘SleepMax’ insignia inscription on the side-corner end. The mattress arrives rolled up in a super air tight packaging & once you pierce the packaging to open it, the mattress will automatically begin to rapidly expand to its original size but will take about 24-48hrs to fully reach its 100% size. The top portion of the mattress is made of breathable skin-friendly knitted fabric with a cooling effect gel memory foam & high density foam underneath it for added comfort & stability. The price listed for this 12in thick mattress is well worth the price, an exceptional value for its size & level of comfort.

Ordered this for my daughter’s first “big girl” bed. It was simple to unbox and expanded quickly. I unboxed the mattress and within a few hours it was fully expanded. It’s a nice firmness and very comfortable. I’m so far happy with the quality. I wanted one that could grow with her, as she’s still only 5, so I’m very happy with the height, but may be a little tall for smaller kids.

This is a very firm, mattress with no movement, and a soft comfortable top layer. The corners and outside edges are "crisp", without any of the droop or sag of some other mattresses I have tried. You can sit on the edge of this mattress to put on your shoes or such with support under your legs like a chair, instead of a futon. I have slept soundly every night since I've started using it, with no back pain at all. It truly is hotel quality, and compares directly to mattresses costing 5 times as much.

Wonderful mattress. It comes in a pretty big box but it rolls out and expands to a nice, plump and comfortable mattress. I love that it has all the layers that really make it feel great. Its not super firm nor super soft so somewhere in the middle. Gives good support for the back. Sure beats paying $1000 for one at the local mattress store!
