I bought this because it was on sale and we needed a mattress pad for our new bed. This is so thick and comfortable to sleep on. We have a new memory foam bed and this is a perfect addition to the top of the mattress. It fit the bed perfectly without bunching for a smooth finish under the sheets. It is made well and the elastic stretched nicely and holds it in place. It has a puffy top but is not hot to sleep on. The only downside is if you have white or light colored sheets you can see the checkered patterned through the sheets. We went with dark grey sheets and you can't see through it at all. I will be buying more of these for our other beds.

This product is very soft and quilted, I only wish it was also waterproof and stain resistant! But overall if you don’t need the waterproofing, I highly recommend, help make mattress more comfortable!
