I'm very happy with this cooling bed pad. My mattress is super thick and has a built-in memory foam topper that makes it unbearably hot, especially during the summer. It had been disrupting my sleeping so I tried this cooling bed pad. Surprisingly, to me, it's made an amazing difference. The bed does still naturally warm with a body in it but it does a good job at cooling overall. It creates a noticeable difference and has helped my sleep tremendously. For the price you can't beat. But i don't know where they got the cooling from. Its more like it gets warm and you get your body heat back to you. I guess its great if your always cold but not for hot flashes and menopause.
