I just received the Ultra Soft plush topper and just spent my second night on it. It has been a total game changer. I’ve been saving up to buy an expensive orthopedic mattress and now I can put that purchase on the back burner. I have minimal cartridge in my left hip and sacroiliac joint dysfunction due to moderate levo scoliosis. My ultra hard mattress (I inherited my brother’s mattress when I got his bedroom set) was aggravating my condition. A recent hike threw me into a severe SJD flare. An ice pack, some curcumin and Tylenol and two nights on this topper and this morning I rolled out of bed pain free after a restful night of no tossing and turning. First time in many months I haven’t awaken in the morning stiff and feeling like I’m 110 years old. This mattress topper I bought is a game changer. Order arrived within two days with Prime but upon opening box I noticed the foam was shredded and the product had obviously been used and returned, this was not a good first impression. I immediately taped the box back up without even removing contents and returned to Amazon with a replacement. My replacement came within 24 hours and this time the product was vacuumed sealed and came double wrapped in protective covering. After the bad start I have to say I have never had a better night sleep! Cover over memory foam is so soft and cool, I couldn’t be happier. It does make me question how a used product could have been sent to me in the first place, hoping Quality Control is more careful sending things out in the future, but overall I’ll give this 5 star rating. ... show more

Upon getting a brand new mattress that turned out to be too firm, I ordered a 2" latex topper first, but it didn't really compensate for the firm mattress. So, I ordered this 3" gel memory foam topper with the 1" plush mattress cover. I removed the latex and put on the gel foam set. Hmmm, not really any better--the mattress was still too unyielding. Then I put both toppers on the bed with the mattress cover. That did it! The latex on top had the spring and the gel foam on the bottom gave the extra cushioning. But the best part is the mattress cover--it is wonderfully plush! Everyone will have a different need for ordering a topper, but my experience is that a 2" or 3" foam alone won't cure a too firm underlying mattress, especially for those with arthritis. If the problem is firmness, I would encourage shoppers to consider getting the thickest foam possible, or double up on the 2" toppers. ... show more

Love this topper and pad! Very soft and comfortable. I have a issues with my lower back and sleep on my back and was waking up with a backache. Since getting this topper, I have not had this problem.     • Good quality, but hard and hot
This mattress is comfortable, but it is NOT soft. We had to purchase another Temperpedic mattress topper, to soften it up a bit. That being said, it seems pretty high quality, and I think it will last longer than my last one. It does not sleep any cooler though, which is a huge bummer. I will say ~ I was SUPER disappointed in the delivery, and I thought if we hadn't already gotten rid of our other mattress, I would have sent it back for a replacement, because the box was ripped open in several places and the foam mattress was starting to poof out of the holes. If I had opened it and it was stained at all or torn, I wouldn't have hesitated to do so. I'm not sure if this is the company's fault or Amazon delivery, but either way it, was BAD. ... show more
