I am a big believer in starting my day with a protein packed cup of coffee so these seemed perfect. As my health journey continues I have been avoiding dairy more and more; Initially when I saw these dairy free alternative to the more popular whey protein shakes I was excited to try them. I followed the instructions and kept them in ideal conditions shaking limitedly and slowly opening the top. The initial taste is very very true to the label and description, the after taste was a completely different story. When I say I couldn’t stomach the second sip I am not exaggerating, the after taste is sharp and metallic reminiscent of a coffee but with the addition of dish soap. Initially I thought maybe it was the flavor I tried (vanilla latte) fortunately I had purchased the variety pack so I decided to give every flavor a chance. I guess the only consistent thing between flavors was that each one was UNDRINKABLY bad. Even my husband, who we affectionately call the “human garbage disposal”, couldn’t stomach them. Usually I’m not one to complain but owing to the fact that these were not fit for human consumption I decided to go ahead and post a negative review. DO NOT BUY THESE I repeat they taste horrible!

I have been purchasing this for over a year, always comes in a half box for the 12 pack, which stores nicely in my cabinet. The last order I received, was 3 cans wrapped in plastic bags x 4 in a box, which means I had to unwrap each and now they are laying loose in my cabinet. Still same great taste and product, if I had known they were coming in single use packaging, I would have saved my previous packaging for proper storage.

I wrote in my last review that these were rotten and unusable - and of the first three I tried, two tasted rotten so I left a bad review. I tried another and then another - turns out that only two were undrinkable (it wasn’t the flavor- I was able to drink all the flavors). After my unfavorable review, the company did contact me and offered a refund. I was disappointed that two tasted spoiled - the other ten were very good. I will likely try these again because I did enjoy the product once the off tasting two were out of the way. I also appreciate the company reaching out to me - and they did not ask me to change my review!
