There is no audio streaming in my Audi A5 so I had to find a tool that will allow me to play the music from my iphone. My first choice was a simple transmitter but then I've found TUNAI Firefly LDAC Bluetooth Receiver. The sound was perfect and it automatically connects to the phone every time the vehicle starts with no issues. There are a lot of settings that you can modify etc. I've been trying to get the quality closer to CD format but there were still gaps in sound and you always hear the difference between CD and BT songs. However, when I received Slash4 I've found what I need! The sound quality is absolutely amazing! Together with B&O audio system they produce the sound which is clearly better than CD. The best thing here is that you don't need to setup anything. Just plug it in and enjoy the fantastic sound! I'm totally recommend this tool to all the sound connoisseurs! Just 1 small advise, if you have a small distance between the USB & Aux you better purchase a small cable (Be sure to get a gold plated) to connect as one that comes with the kit is pretty long (0.5mtr).

I bought the SLASH3 and liked it, so I tried the SLASH4 in my car. Way better than the $30 unit I had before—no noise and super clean sound. Hi-Res streaming on Qobuz/Tidal finally makes my Kicx speakers shine.

This device apparently doesn't work with every USB-equiped vehicle. I have a 2012 Scion tC and after plugging this into the USB port and pairing with my phone, I was unable to switch the audio to USB because it didn't even recognize that there was anything plugged into the port. After seeing all the positive reviews, I'm very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. The Slash 4 is a great item that really does improve the sound volume and quality of the music. It's hard to notice from the video, but the Slash 4 increased the volume of the music coming from my MP3 player to normal unlike the other wireless Bluetooth that dropped the volume about 15%-20%.

I have a 2022 RAM truck. When using the built in blue tooth, you have to tap media, then source, then Bluetooth, then wait for it to connect. (even though it's already connected for phone calls). And then sometimes it that takes a couple tries. It was so annoying to me that I was contemplating selling the truck. But then I found this Slash 4. Now I fire up the truck and I'm immediately connected for media on the slash 4. All I have to do is hit the play button. I still use the built in Bluetooth for phone calls. I enabled media only in my phone settings for the Slash. And enabled phone only for the truck Bluetooth. Now I am happy! As a bonus, the sound is noticeablely better because my phone uses LDAC for the codec. (Pixel 8 pro) In fact, the sound is excellent. I love my car stereo now! I highly recommend this device.

I don't have many complaints about this little DAC. It sounds amazing, has a wide range of supported high-quality codecs, and just works without any fuss. The sound quality is very clear, in a way that just makes each individual instrument easier to pick out from the others. Bass is especially solid and clean. There's not much else to really say, it's just very precise but easy to listen to, especially when using LDAC. It compares really well with my Fiio BTR3. It's a shame that Slash didn't add the ability to use this as a USB DAC. I really wish they had, it would have made this product absolutely perfect. Note that there's no microphone on this device; given this is for music, I don't miss it. Physical construction is also quite nice. It's fairly large, but a rounded shape. I also quite like the blue. These are of course secondary to the actual sound quality, but it's good to see there was some attention paid here. Displaying the codec by status LED color is a nice touch, although it does blink green annoyingly when connected but no music is playing. The included 3.5mm audio and mini-TOSlink cables are also very high quality. I didn't get a chance to test the optical digital audio output, as I don't currently own anything with that as an input. Given how good the built-in DAC is, I don't think I'm missing out. Overall, a very impressive bit of kit. The price is quite steep compared to other 'generic' bluetooth adapters, but the sound quality increase due to better codec support and a high-quality DAC makes a solid argument for the cost. For in-car use, it may be overkill when competing with road noise and such, but for home with some good speakers... excellent! I just hope Slash will add USB audio support in the next iteration to round it off.

Works perfectly in Gen 8 Honda Accord. Sounds awesome! Easy 1 time set up and forget it. Shuts off when car turned off. Re-connects next time you start the car. Good powerful sound from the Aux in now. No static or whine. LDAC works great with Tidal, Samsung Galaxy 23 FE and 2011 Honda Accord XL-E w/o navigation. This is a high quality, well designed premium product. No fiddly app needed (looking at you Firefly LDAC) Spend the extra money and get this one. You won't be disappointed.
