  • Trampoline is stamped 200lbs Max. Don't be Fooled by the Stated Tested 800LBS

So trampoline arrived yesterday at the bottom of my steps, so I had to get it in the house myself. I chose to install what I could inside and not in the Texas Heat.i first built the leg support and connected a top pole. I then took it outside and with the help of several chairs, connected middle pole to each completed leg section. I did it alone so the chairs held the circle up so it didn't fall as I was on another section. It really felt like I had one too many circle poles as the bounch pad seems like a 10 foot for a 12 foot support. I decided to stop for the night. Got back to it today and realized as you attach the springs, it will pull all the support structure sections together and they lock into each other. Have your own screw driver, electric if possible, and use something other than the provided spring puller. I had a better one with a smaller trampoline and it allows the leverage and hand grip I needed. When the instructions say connect the bounce pad and zipper of net where a T-, connections is, it means the T-connector that the net pole does NOT go in. Learned that the hard way and had to take the entire pad and springs off. Lastly, I gave 4 stars because I did try to move it myself and one of the circular sections came apart and the whole trampoline nowed in. I thought it was a bent pole but it was just one of the circle poles not seated in the other and this took some time to figure out. Since I had to take it apart anyway over the T-connector being at the entrance, I fixed it then. 4 stars because for something built to jump on, why can't it be dragged two feet without two people. That doesn't seem sturdy it seems built to bare minimum standards. Lastly 4 stars because comparing max weight I bought this because it boldly says tested to 800 lbs but then it mentions 200 lbs standard and some letter I had to look up. The trampoline clearly says on it, do not exceed 200lbs. I wanted one that held more but my son isn't 200lbs so it will still work but it's very misleading, on purpose I'm sure since most of us are not trampoline experts to know what the true max is. And since nobody ever comments on the actual reason we buy stuff I will, the bounch is great on this trampoline. ... show more

  • Best Kid entertainment and energy absorber! Use responsibly...
Color: Blue Style: 8 Foot Pattern Name: Trampoline
Size 8' wide and about 88' tall! Wow! We got it for indoors and it is huge! Weight capacity says 175 lb but with me (about 140), my 5 yr old and 3 yr old (about 70 lb between them), it seemed fine. (Though continued use like that may wear it out) The poles are just a few inches from ceiling, but when I jump, my husband said at my highest point, my head was about 6" from ceiling! I am 5'6. At 5'11, he said he wasnt gonna chance it lol. Construction Pay careful attention to instructions. E.g. The slits in the protector foam loop should correspond with the square connector parts - where poles will be inserted (seems obvious now, but one mistake in positioning and you have a LOT of backtracking!) As my husband says, "We do it right because we do it twice!" Lol. Quality/price Great fun, big smiles/shrieks and seems well made. Got it for $139 in Amazon lightning sale but at $159 (current price) - its still a deal! We had a smaller one (diff brand but also sturdy) which was almost the same price - maybe $125 in "deals" which lasted 4.5 years - broke mostly because older child kept climbing on net and ended up with broken pole. We used it everyday. Safety (at your own risk) I def got scared when my 2 kids jumped together on our 6ft tramp. This feels a little safer due to more room - but keep in mind that trampolines ARE dangerous - (instructions tell you the dos and donts e.g. Dont bounce while under the influence of drugs or alcohol lol, but also no flips/somosaults for risk of head/neck injuries) I do let my two kids jump together - but I do it with caution and always watch over them, making sure they keep to their own sides. If one doesnt listen, they are OUT. Even though this is big, I still wouldnt let two 5 year old two friends jump together unless I was certain they would both be responsible - and would still watch them carefully. Its just not worth the risk for me. Uses: Trampolines are not only for jumping, But also for imaginative play - ours have been cages (kids pretend to be dogs at pet store), jail cells, forts, beds, a place to dump every stuffed animal and pillow and has stayed that way for days as they play in it - forgetting it was ever a trampoline. Conclusion: One of the best "toys" to own - if used responsibly. The dangers do make me nervous - thats the only down side. ... show more
