Previous to this device I had been using a SMA to SO-239 adapter with a thin piece of coax between the two fittings. I worked fine for about 6 months then a few days ago the coax slipped out of the SMA fitting. It wasn't something I use regularly but on my Nano VNA to test SWR on an antenna I was building. So maybe about 10-12 times I've used it in that time span. So I thought I'd try this to remove the weak link of the thin COAX. To be fair I'll give it 6 month to make sure it outlasts the COAX version but I'm pretty sure it will. ... show more

I bought them for use with my Nano-VNA and they worked very well. The connector is the proper gender for the VNA, seems built well, and the price was about as good as you can expect. They seem pretty rugged for what they are.

Although it was a day late arriving, these are exactly what I needed to be able to connect a portable radio to an external antenna on my vehicle. I also use the SMA Female to UHF Female adapter that was purchased separately.
