  • Worth every penny
I spent 3 months with this PC just testing it out and pushing it to the max settings of my workload. This computer held up and I really have no complaints. I did experience the computer shutting off once and I thought it wouldn't come back on like I read in other reviews... But weeks later, I haven't had any other issues. The fans are quiet. I don't know what other reviews are saying but even when cranked up to the max, the sound of the fans are not a problem. Maybe because my past experience with loud fans, this is nothing! I record voice overs, and I literally record with my mic right next to the PC (I know that it's not the best way to record, but the sound from the PC does not bother my recording). I don't play a lot of the newer games but GTA V, Sims 3 and 4, Warzone, all pushed thru max settings tests. I'm able to stream while gaming. I made 2D and 3D animations, I edit videos, make music with pro tools and fl studio - I haven’t found anything that I can’t do so far. There's not much I can say except I didn't have many problems I read in other reviews. I didn't expect much from this PC, I got it because I didn't want to spend time and money chasing parts. I’m glad I went with this ... show more

  • Good PC, no complaints.
After some research and determining that at the moment pre-built isn’t a bad way to go I decided to buy this computer. There were some spotty reviews and some that really made me want it. I bought the pc on Amazon as I figured the shipping would just be quicker. I chose the fastest method and got it within a week I believe. The pc came well packaged, had no physical damage at all and had a quick start up guide that was easy to follow. I plugged in the pc and turned it on and had zero issues at all. Everything worked as advertised. The inside cable management was good and no connection issues anywhere. Since then I’ve put it through different games such as Control, horizon zero dawn, forza horizons four, call of duty warzone, knockout arena, Microsoft flight simulator, and a few others. All the games look and play great. For example, warzone hit the FPS mark that was displayed on skytechs site, and forza has never dropped below 144fps on high and ultra settings on some as well. When playing in 4K on warzone I was still hitting 4K 60hz as that’s all my 4K monitor will display. I am definitely happy with my purchase and haven’t had any issues with temps running hot or excessive crashing etc. ... show more

  • Avoid this company
I had originally bought the RTX3070 model on an original purchase price of $2,431.17. Long story short; They had sent me 5 in total and non of them worked out, and now I'm going through the refund process with them. -Computer 1 was built beautifully and had no complaints. It lasted a month before losing sound. Tech support did their best to try and help me over email, but had to send it back. They reported to me it had a faulty motherboard due to a manufactures defect. Oh well, no worries because it happens, right? -Computer 2 arrived destroyed, and had to be sent back basically the same day it arrived. From the kind of damage i saw, it would appear some of it happened during assembly, and not only in shipping. -Computer 3 arrived with a bent graphics card that looked like it was bent during assembly, missing screws, and stripped out screws, as well there was no way i can see the graphics card getting bent the way it did during shipping. Tech support told me to give it a try anyways but sadly it did not work. They mistakenly sent out 2 computers to replace this one. -Computer 4 had several missing and stripped screws as well, and would only go to the boot menu. After removing and reinstalling the M.2 SSD hard drive, it would still only go to the boot menu and had to get sent back. I told them to allow the 5th to finish shipping instead of getting recalled. -Computer 5 also had stripped out screws to where parts on the case would just flop around. It worked for a week before no longer putting out video. At this point, i was 3 months into not having a working computer, and am now writing this review on a ThinkCentre that went out of production in 2002. ... show more

  • Great PC
Have had this PC for about an year now and has performed excellent. Fan's are a little noisy but not enough to have a negative impact on gaming. Overall excellent PC for the money.

  • Solid PC, pc packed right
I was needing a new PC after a shipping company improperly packed mine for a cross country move... The people at skytech didn't make the same mistakes. Computer came well packed and supported both in the box to prevent major shocks to it as well as internally to ensure heavy components didn't flex or shake during shipping. The PC itself is quality. There was no extra bloatware installed on it, specs were as advertised, and the parts used at least in mine were pretty similar to the ones I'd have picked out myself manufacturer wise. All names any pc builder would recognize and not the super cheap end parts. The ONLY issue I've had with it, and it isn't worth taking off a star or sending the computer back, was one of the front fans is noticably slower than the other 2 and doesn't like to start spinning on cold boot, but a simple nudge is all it takes to get it spinning. Honestly an easy swap out for me so if that's the only issue in a PC that traveled from Cali yo the east coast, I can't complain. Performance and thermals are solid, the bios was properly setup, no having to go in and enable xmp to get your proper ram speeds. There are a few things I'd like to have seen done differently just from the standpoint of a PC builder. 1) using a micro ATX motherboard saves money, but I'd like to have seen a full sized board in it for the sake of spacing. 2) case fans are not addressable RGB, you simply push a button to cycle thru patterns and colors. 3) case fans are not run thru chassis fan pins on the board so the speeds cannot be monitored or controlled. None of these detract from the quality of the build, they're just things I'd like to have seen from a higher end prebuilt like this. ... show more
