The Skyrover S1 Drone Combo was excellent with 3 batteries that will last 30 to 40 minute each depending on your mode of flight. I was very impressed with the flight stability and obedience of the drone's controls. Thankfully it does not have a mind of its own like my previous drone. It has front/forward obstacle avoidance that works well. No problem with range and transmission but I never flew more than 2 miles. If I had more space, I would. I have no issues with the controller, batteries, or camera. It shoots good video and photos. For the price, I rate it a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend. It has good maintenance support within the U.S. and you can buy accident insurance at time of sale.

Review Title: Seriously Impressed — A DJI-Level Experience I absolutely love this drone! I’ve owned DJI drones before, and honestly, the Skye Rover is surprisingly comparable. The flight performance, stability, controls, and overall experience have really impressed me. For the price, I wasn’t expecting it to perform this well. I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and how much fun it is to fly. If you’re looking for a drone that delivers a premium experience without necessarily spending DJI-level money, I’d definitely recommend giving the Skye Rover a look.

Fantastic drone. Battery life is great, rock solid in wind and the built in display is easy to see even in bright conditions. The drone responds to commands quickly. Returns to home every time. When the drone detects that battery life is low it gives you a verbal warning, counts down from ten and returns to home. It misses the landing target by only a foot or two. All functions of the built in screen controller work as they should. Make sure you get a memory card that’s at least 32 gigabytes if you plan on taking 4k 60 fps videos. Forward and down looking obstacle avoidance works as promised. I flew the drone directly at myself and at about two feet from me it refused to move any closer to me. The only negative is that the user manual is digital only ( no printed version) and it could be more detailed but once you fly the drone it’s pretty intuitive and I found that the instructions build into the controller is sufficient to make up for the manual. Believe the hype about Skyrover.

The drone and it's camera are phenomenal. The problem I had was getting it up and running consistently. There is nothing wrong with the drone but still, the steps to get it going in the guide just don't work. Each time I've got it going it has taken me 15 to 20 minutes of trying one thing and another. Finally when I get it going I have no idea how I did and so I'm left to repeat the same 15 to 20 effort again and again. It's pretty frustrating. But once you get it going it's fun and easy to fly.

This was my first drone, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I don't know how it gets much better than this at the price point... The 4k camera is awesome. The battery life is amazing, and the package I bought came with 3. I've literally crashed this thing into trees 75+ feet up, and it's still working. I did break one of the tiny landing arms off in one of those accidents, but I glued it back together with J-B weld. It has flown many times since then.

I’ve had this item for a couple months now set up was very easy once I got past the little dilemma of the email attaching to the account. The drone showed up in a good amount of time was impressed with the packaging. Very easy to fly impressive range chemical quality is decent. I have not installed the SD card but it will save everything to my phone that I video or photograph definitely would buy this product again. Price was great. The flight time is around 20 minutes per battery.

I received the drone quickly. After charging the battery and downloading the associated app I attempted to get the drone in the air. I powered on the drone and controller with the phone connected expecting a seamless connection since there was no mention in the instructions on pairing. I got nothing. I attempted to find further help - online manual and Youtube and got no where. I powered off and on a number of time to no avail. I have emailed the customer service address and am waiting for a response. I should not have to jump through all these hoops to get this thing going. If something changes, I will update. Update: Initially I gave the Skyrover a 1star review because it was useless because I could not pair the remote to the drone. I had gone to Google Play to get the Skyrover app and that was my mistake. I cannot emphasize enough the lack of information included in the Skyrover package I received. There is nothing even remotely indicating that there is any other place to get the app. I found an online user manual that also never mention the a step in setup to download an app. I finally at last see, off to the side, a reference to a QR code that is a link to the correct app, an app not even in the play store. My phone did not want to install a non-trusted app so I had to jump through hoops to override the phone and get the app installed. Being as the app is from a third party and not tested, I was/am a little concerned about the security of the app. All that being said, I got the drone and remote paired and was able to get it set up and going. I am new to higher quality drones, but am amazed at the abilities of this drone. It could easily be the last drone I would buy as it seems to have all the features that a person would want or need. Very easy to fly. Because of this update I am raising my rating to a 3 star rating. There is no excuse for not having clear instructions on the correct app and where to get it at the very beginning of the Quick Start guide and the user manual. Skyrover needs to do better.

This is a great little drone that is very much worth the asking price. Do be warned that it doesn't have 360 obstacle detection, only front and down. Like all drones in this weight and price range it is also a bit on the fragile side. Overall though, this a great first drone and has an amazingly clear camera for what they are asking.
