The Skyrover S1 Drone Combo was excellent with 3 batteries that will last 30 to 40 minute each depending on your mode of flight. I was very impressed with the flight stability and obedience of the drone's controls. Thankfully it does not have a mind of its own like my previous drone. It has front/forward obstacle avoidance that works well. No problem with range and transmission but I never flew more than 2 miles. If I had more space, I would. I have no issues with the controller, batteries, or camera. It shoots good video and photos. For the price, I rate it a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend. It has good maintenance support within the U.S. and you can buy accident insurance at time of sale.

My first truly amazing drone

This drone is absolutely amazing! My first flight i had a tutorial like a video game. It was one of the coolest thing! The camera quality is perfect, no shaking or jellowing. The feed is beautiful with no lag at all. The drone has alerts that let's you know when an object is close or in your path, its like the call of duty hit markers. I bought the basic kit with one battery. Never will I do that again. I get about 30+ minutes of flight time and its not super loud but its a drone with 4 motor spending. I never lost connection with the drone. Easy to use and fly for 30 mins is a big Win.

Initially this was just a purchase to test out the camera quality on the drone, but it turned out be a major steal for the price. This drone is not just a beginner drone, it is a great quality build with tremendous range, excellent/clear camera, and impecable responsiveness to the control commands. Appearance and features are that of a professional quality drone.

Review Title: Seriously Impressed — A DJI-Level Experience I absolutely love this drone! I’ve owned DJI drones before, and honestly, the Skye Rover is surprisingly comparable. The flight performance, stability, controls, and overall experience have really impressed me. For the price, I wasn’t expecting it to perform this well. I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and how much fun it is to fly. If you’re looking for a drone that delivers a premium experience without necessarily spending DJI-level money, I’d definitely recommend giving the Skye Rover a look.

First one arrived broken kept saying gimbal stuck. Turns put the thin conmector to the camera was complete cut in half. After i finally received the second from amazon it worked and is really nice and easy to use. Camera is incredible. Did have a couple times that alsonsaid gimbal stuck and i had to shut it off and restart it but it corrected itself.

Fantastic drone.

Fantastic drone. Battery life is great, rock solid in wind and the built in display is easy to see even in bright conditions. The drone responds to commands quickly. Returns to home every time. When the drone detects that battery life is low it gives you a verbal warning, counts down from ten and returns to home. It misses the landing target by only a foot or two. All functions of the built in screen controller work as they should. Make sure you get a memory card that’s at least 32 gigabytes if you plan on taking 4k 60 fps videos. Forward and down looking obstacle avoidance works as promised. I flew the drone directly at myself and at about two feet from me it refused to move any closer to me. The only negative is that the user manual is digital only ( no printed version) and it could be more detailed but once you fly the drone it’s pretty intuitive and I found that the instructions build into the controller is sufficient to make up for the manual. Believe the hype about Skyrover.

Great bang for the buck

Great drone for the money! Light but handles wind with no issues. Fast satellite link, this drone will not leave you disappointed. Controls are smooth and pictures are excellent. Every bit as good if not better than my dji mavick.

Very simple for a 61 yr old beginner

Awesome drone. I am 61 and never touched a drone before. This one is so easy to get working and flying. The hardest part was figuring out that when turning stuff on it says push the button once, then push it again and hold. I wasn't doing it quick enough. Needs to be like a double mouse click. Once I figured this out, everything worked like a charm. Battery life is really good, maybe not full 40 minutes, but mid thirties easy. I'm having a blast.
