I was really looking forward to getting this headset as these will be replacing my old SLYR 1st gen. They have great sound quality and are super loud I don't even need to go up 50% volume, the fit is VERY noise isolating I was surprised I couldn't quite hear myself speaking clearly. They have a battery incorporated but it's only when using via USB and to use the Skull HQ app or the volume wheel in the headset, and they charge while connected so you don't even need to worry about the battery dying! You can also use the 3.5 mm cable and don't even need to turn them on, the ear pads are real soft and it doesn't hurt my head while using it from 9-5. Mic quality is good although it doesn't really bend. They are not as fragile as people say I think the materials are really good and the colors are pretty, the cables are flat and seem very durable. My only complain would be that they slide off your head easily. Overall this is a great headset but I'm not and audio expert so to me they are good and I would definitely recommend these they look really good. ... show more

I bought these for work because I’m on calls all day. They have great sound quality, they are easy to wear all day, even with glasses and the mic is fantastic for isolating background noise. The only down side is that they don’t fit well on smaller head size. I’m an adult but even with the adjustment to the smallest size, they are still too big and slide off if I don’t add additional padding. ... show more

My son loves these headphones. Great quality and comfortable. Unfortunately 5 months later he lifted them off his desk and the head band broke. Luckily we purchased the warranty and got our money back.

    • Terrible mic quality

Bought this headset because my old one is starting to have issues. However, their “smart mic” is very bad. It base boosts my voice making it incredibly painful and annoying for friends to hear me (that’s with the microphone attachment) and when the mic finally works properly it just sounds like your far away, that includes the built in mic on the headphones, unless you’re playing on a Pc then the issue would be if your talking too low. When you talk to low it becomes too hard for the mic to pick up and then your voice begins to break apart. Going back to the “smart mic” though, the only smart thing about it is if a noice constantly makes noise then the mic lowers that volume until you can’t hear it however, that doesn’t work when someone’s watching tv or when someone is talking in the background meaning it’s not very good for loud households unless say that volume is consistent and constant. That isn’t to say it isn’t all bad, it is surprisingly comfortable and it cancels noise fairly well so if mic quality isn’t a issue then it’s a good headset. I bought these for my 11 year old son. I didn't realize these were noise canceling headphones! My son can't hear me when he has them on when I call him from across the room. They volume is really loud and they block out any background noise, even me yelling "Dinner is done!"

I loved this headset, it was cute, comfy, great sound and wired which is what I was looking for. Until exactly the two month when they snapped at the join where the padding starts. I might understand had I been misusing them in some way but I was simply putting them on my head and prior to had only lightly used them and they never left my desk space.
